Very comfortable, great dexterity
Very comfortable, light, medium-temperature glove. Really hugs the hand. I’m a little mixed on the velcro wrist closure – it closes the wrist great, but is a bit of a pain when pulling the gloves on – makes it a 2-hand operation. Overall the fit is excellent. The leather palms (I think it’s goat leather) are very sturdy and grip better than any leather I’ve seen – it’s almost unreal. You can flip newspaper or book pages while wearing these (I take the metro to work and do regularly) and they grip a car steering wheel great! Good for temps mid-30s F and higher. If it gets too cold, particularly if it’s windy, you’ll want something a little heavier. The felt pills a little, but not too badly. I’ve been wearing them most days going to work and coming home for the past 2 1/2 months and they’re holding up nicely. I really like them and would definitely buy them again.

Best gloves, excellent customer service.
My daughter loves her gloves. They are warm and just the right thickness so that she can easily maintain control while she rides. Also, I had a question about how to wash the gloves (machine washable and hang dry) and I emailed the company. I received a response in moments. So responsive, excellent product, all around excellent purchase. Heritage is definitely the best choice!

Good winter gloves
Keeps my hands warm when riding in winter while not taking away dexterity or feel of the horse. Not the best for chores/handling cold gates or pitchforks, but definitely my go-to winter glove. This is my second pair; the first one lasted several years before I wore a hole into them.

Gloves fit nicely and are soft in and out. Only negative is they soak up water like a sponge! And take forever to dry.

These Are NOT Grippy Heritage Gloves
Unlike all other Heritage horseback riding gloves I’ve purchased (and worn to death), these are not at all grippy. The palm and fingers are a slippery, flat kind of synthetic plastic – not even close to the quality of good silicone grip when holding cold leather reins.I dislike having to keep shortening my reins, but my gelding is a good boy and doesn’t take advantage.The gloves are, however, very warm.

Warm without being bulky. Reins still have a good feel through these gloves. Have worn them for about 15 rides, and so far they are holding up well.
