Easy to use and appears to be accurate
We use these for our well water to test the efficiency of our whole home water softening system. They have been very useful! They are extremely quick and easy to use. When I smell the iron in our water, I pull out a test strip, and it shows up. I purchased 100 strips, so I think it is a great value for the money.

Seems to work fine!
At first I thought these were defective. I was sure we had iron in our well (ground) water, and it wouldnât register any iron! In fact all it measures Is magnesium and calcium. I thought there might be other stuff in there too. But we had someone come out and test our water, and they also got the no iron result. I tested city water at another household and slight difference in the magnesium & calcium level. So I guess they work. I just didnât want to trust people coming to test water who might also want to sell us something so I bought these test strips to feel a bit more confident. Thereâs a ton of them in there though. They should consider selling smaller packages for less money.

False item photo description
Safe drinking water Mercury level is below 0.002ppm (2ppb) and Lead level is below 0.015ppm (15ppb)Product picture show minimum detection level of Mercury at 0.002ppm and Lead at 20ppb.The real item minimum detection level of Mercury is at 0.5ppm and Lead at 20ppm render it useless.

Easy to use!
This kit comes with everything you need to do the test including clear instructions and several extras! The whole test takes less than 30 seconds from opening the box to getting results and itâs super easy. It was very clear to read and understand, and I appreciated that they give you a range of ânormalâ so that you know what to be concerned about, if anything. I did one test straight from our faucet and one test from the fridge filtered water and got pretty much the same results, all in normal range thankfully! Iâm very pleased with this product!

So happy to have gotten these. I paid around the same price price for 10 test strips at a local retail store and it has 2 more tests included for a total of 10, but for what I need this covers all and I get 100 strips. The value difference here is huge.My main focus is testing for copper since I have high free copper when I had blood testing so it is important for me to constantly check. Something interesting was noticed. I know I do have copper in the water because there is colouring around the faucets as the house has old copper piping. It seems to be minor though as it doesn’t show up in drinking water from the faucet without a filter. So the interesting thing was that the water from the faucet was fine, but when I tested my water filter, I had trace copper! So I had been using the filter to avoid potential copper and it seems like it had been leeching copper in the filter and pushing it out. Very good to know this so I could switch to a new filter.Really happy with this and I get to test constantly without having to buy expensive tests!

Easy to use. I tested 3 different water sources from town water, filtered water and a drilled well at a farm. All results just show some slight elevation of Magnesium and Calcium, and were virtually identical. I was sure the farm water had an iron content, but the test did not show that. That was all suspicious so I was about to return the item. Then I tested the water from a large can of fish from China. Wow. 50 ppb lead, which makes sense because China is still soldering their cans with lead solder. Still suspicious about the accuracy and the magnesium and calcium indicators, but this seems to be a useful kit for the price.

This is a good deal for a pack of 100 water test strips, and the test results seem reasonable for a basic color-based consumer grade kit. The results are highly reproducible between strips which is good.I do wish the bottle came with a few extra printed color reference charts, as having to refer to the one on the bottle’s label makes it impractical for sharing a few strips, etc. with others, since there’s no way to check the result without the bottle.
