These work great just need to be really close to the flies
These work great!!! I buy a pack every summer. For some reason where I live, by the time the heat really picks up in August, September, the flies are TERRIBLE. Theyâre all over our fence and all over our trash bins. First we tried those smelly traps that you cut a hole in and fill with water but on a warm day the smell will make you want to puke! So we found these sticky traps and they work fantastic no smell!My only advice is they literally need to be right where the action is. They canât be like hanging in the corner, no. Theyâre not attracted to the trap, theyâre attracted to whatever thing theyâre attracted to. So for us we hang them literally right over the bin theyâre attracted most to and the trap will be full in a week or two. This year I just laid one across the top of one of the bins and it was full by days end. Sometimes takes a little time but it will greatly reduce the issue!

Guaranteed to work on fruit flies
These things work very well! I had fruit flies. I thought it was a couple of flies. I was surprised how many this thing caught! It is not cute by any manys but functionality, I get it 100%!

It works but be creative
So I originally just hung this up near where my dogs pooped, but it really didnât do anything. It probably caught like four flies. But I also did not want to put honey inside the cup because I felt that would be messy and if it swayed in the wind or leaned to a side, tipped over, blah, etc. I didnât wanna deal with a mess.So I thought what happens if I put this basically on top of my dogs poop and within an hour, it caught ridiculous amount of flies and Iâm kind of impressed but then Iâm also confused on how stupid flies are, but yeah overall it works if you can figure out what to do with it. (Please see photo for reference)Also Iâm just going to wait till the poop dries up and hardens and then itâll be pretty easy to clean up. In the summer sun, it will be fast.

No good
We get a lot of flies during the summer. We had a single, silver version of these that caught a bunch of flies.Bought these about a week ago.As you can see from the pictures, these 3 seperate traps caught virtually nothing!! Our kitchen was swarming with them so I placed two by the windows where they often congregate and only 6 flies (5 on one trap, one on the other and none on the third…one of which I caught and threw on there myself, so really only 5!) between 3 traps, two in a highly populated area and one by the living room window, were caught! The rest continued to buzz around and be an annoyance!Waste of money! I wonder why these failed yet the single one worked??
