I have 125 gallon tank. We have two baby Oscarâs, one 5 year old Pleco and 5 baby giant danios. This bubbler has levels of power which I love. While most of our fish are young they donât need much oxygen but as they grow I will not need to replace the bubbler as I can just turn the power level up. Although you canât see the bubbles clearly in the photos the last picture I turned the volume up. The stone the product comes with release a good amount of bubbles but you could always replace with the flat blue bubbler to get more bubble power if needed. This is a very good product and the seller responds quickly to messages.

I got a few goldfish at a fair, but they kept dying due to lack of oxygen. I saw this and ordered immediately- knowing this was the answer. The only drawback is there were no instructions, so I went back to the ad listing. There also wasn’t instructions or photos listing the parts on the ad. I knew I needed the tube, air stone, and pump. There were a number of other valves and pieces in the box that I have no clue what are for, and they aren’t pictured in the ad either. The pump and air stone work perfectly- set it up in the aquarium and adjusted the air pressure. My fish instantly started looking healthy, and swimming around happily. The pump and stone work great, but I still have no clue what the other parts in the box are for.

Good value, but it mades a humming sound
Does a nice job with adjustable setting for few or many bubbles. However it does make a hum which i find a bit annoying…..not so loud to be horrible, but subtle and mildly discomforting. Good value for the price, but only 3 stars because of the hum. The more bubbles is set for, the louder the hum.

Keeping My Pets Happy
This pump is great so far!Context: I have a 5 gallon vertical tank with multiple live plants, a decorative driftwood piece, and some rock hardscape features. I have the flow rate set low because Betta fish don’t like fast-flowing water. I think this low-flow rate was under-oxygenating my tank.The installation process for this pump was a bit…. hinky. I didn’t receive any instructions in the box. I had to figure out what each part was and which direction it should be installed in with trial and error.I referred to the seller’s web pictures for the installation of the check valve. That was a mistake. The pictures I saw were difficult to interpret, except one, which showed the valve “pointy” end should be oriented toward the airflow coming from the pump. The picture showed it with an arrow of (what I thought was supposed to be) airflow going toward the pointy end, which is backwards if the air is coming FROM where the pump should be. I’m guessing from looking at the picture of the pump line instruction in the panel before that one (in hindsight), that the “instruction” maker intended that to be the direction you were shoving the hose onto the item pictured, not necessarily airflow direction. Those instructions were confusing, as it is presented.Another issue I had was that it was way too powerful for my tank without the air adjustment valve. That’s not a problem with the unit, and is actually good for those who would need more air to oxygenate their tank. I just needed to get the part in that helps control it. Unfortunately, I didn’t know what that part was at first. I figured it out after I had already assembled the hose, air stone, and pump. I had to cut the line closer to the pump and slot it in after I realized the bubbles coming out of the air stone were way too big and fast for my shrimp and Betta to be happy with it. That wasn’t difficult once I identified the adjustment part (white thing on my hose with the screw-cap end). It’s pretty cheap plastic, though, and the cap didn’t want to fit onto the end at first without cross threading. With patience and care I was able to get it to thread well enough to adjust the depth of the control rod for the airflow. I now have a stream of smaller and less vigorous bubbles that provide a constant boost of extra oxygen.It also includes a “splitter” T joint for running more than one air stone or bubble water feature, which is nice if you need it for multiple stones in a larger tank. My humble little 5 gallon tank did not require it.I think this air pump may be responsible for the improved survival rate of my newest batch of red rili shrimp. I figured I would come back and have at least 1 dead from transfer shock (even though I drip-acclimatized) over the weekend, but all of the ones I put in on Friday still seem to be very healthy, happy, and most of all ALIVE!I previously purchased a batch of shrimp and they all died off one by one. I’m hoping this helps improve the conditions in my tank, because none of the chemical factors tested as out of normal ranges while my shrimp slowly just died off all within around 5 days. It was sad. I think the tank may have needed an extra oxygen source.This is a reasonably priced pump and is fairly quiet and compact. I did have to put a small paper towel under the pump itself. It vibrated rather vigorously on my desktop and was “walking” around on my desk until I cushioned it with the paper. It is now very hard to tell it is there, except for the constant popping of bubbles at the top of the tank. It enhances the “waterfall” sound of my filter output, which is also very quiet.I would have liked to have a black colored hose available as an option to “disguise” it against the back of my tank, but that is more an ascetic thing, and not something I really expect from a basic air pump setup.

Not worth it
Worked well upon arrival but after only 3 short months of on and off use it stopped working. Seems like it is well made but its longevity is shamefully short!
