THE PERFECT SIZE: The 16oz bottle is designed for Dwarf Rabbits, Ferrets, Guinea Pigs and other small animals. The bottle is weather resistant and can be used in outdoor environments. Not all small animals need the same amount of water. For the 16oz we use a 3/8 inch tube that is large enough to accommodate the water needs of the pets noted above.
VACUUM SEAL: Lixit bottles work by forming a vacuum to hold the water inside. It is important to fill the bottle all the way to the top and ensure the cap is on tight to prevent leaking. Some dripping when the bottle is first turned over is normal.
EASY TO CLEAN: The Lixit wide mouth bottles are designed with a large opening to allow easy access inside for cleaning. The opening is large enough to accommodate a bottle brush and is easy to refill with water.
QUALITY STAINLESS STEEL: Our tubes are made of the same 304 grade stainless steel in food preparation. We polish our tubes until they have the same satin finish that is found in quality silverware. Each tube is hand coned on the end to ensure that it has a smooth tip that will not harm your pet.

Water bottle review
Finally, they arrived, the first package never made it to my house thankfully I got a replacement and they work so far. I don’t put them inside because the rats have chewed the other water bottle so I put it outside. The design is good, I noticed a little dripping but not a big extent but I noticed that when one my rats drank from one, it didn’t drip no more. the value for both especially because they come in a pack is not bad at all. It’s plastic but durable and seems like it would last.

Keep it super tight to prevent leaks
Good size and quality. Works well . Keep it screwed on super tight to stop from leaking. If itâs screwed on normal tight it will leak from the threads and the ball.

worked but they leak at ball where animal licks them.
I bought several of these and they work, the ONLY issue i had with mine is leakage from ball where the animals lick to get water , we just put a small bowl under each one for leakage and eventually as it was used they stopped leaking.Also insure the animal cant reach through c age and chew them as they are plastic.

Less leakage than other brands
I don’t know if my guineas are just aggressive, but they can get pretty loud when they drink. Not sure if that is the bottle or the babies.This is a very large size so I don’t have to refill it constantly. It’s a great size for my 2x large guineas.It doesn’t appear to leak too much, unless they’re playing with it. Which they do.

Leaker
Adopted guinea pigs and this brand of water bottle came with. It started leaking horribly and so I decided to get same brand since maybe the other one was older and I liked the wide mouth. I was highly disappointed! Started to non stop leak. I filled it to the top and a couple hours later the water is almost all gone. Now my guinea pig mat is almost half wet. Iâm out of money and purchasing a pricier bottle hopefully switching brands and style will help. Waste of money, time, and water.

great bottle
I buy these for my smaller sized rabbits. They are really easy to fill. They are very durable. Just when they come make sure that the blue seal is pushed all the way into the lid. This will prevent leaks and if you lose the seal you can’t replace it. I accidently dropped one and the dog chewed it. I have only broke one because it hit the concrete in the winter. Otherwise, they do not freeze as fast as other bottles.

This actually works and doesnt leak. I have bought many that do not work. Im happy to have found 1 that does. The design is great also because he can get it .

Leaks
It holds a good amount of water. Good for 2 guinea pigs but it leaks a lot so it goes away much quicker than Id like. It’s light weight but was so noisy. I would only buy it again if I needed a new one and it was on sale

Does not leak. All other bottles I’ve tried have left large wet spots in cage. This one I only get a few drops when refilled. Will buy another.

Bottle would not stop leaking and made a mess in my rat’s cage, went to return it and it says item not eligible, I’m upset

I bought two of these but have only used one. My pups won’t drink from it and it leaks all over the puppy pen as soon as the ball is touched. I have now purchased a non leak bottle, which suggests that this is an issue with these bottles. Very disappointed.
