Excellent…
This was an excellent little book. I have been in the veterinary field for 8 years but needed to take an animal nutrition course for college. This was an EXCELLENT little intro-level book to animal nutrition and actually clarified some things that I felt the teacher did not describe enough in class and was confused about. It also has some more in-depth information for those, like me, with a foundation in animal nutrition. However, this is NOT an elaborate-IN DEPTH look at animal nutrition. It would have to be about a thousand pages longer to cover in-depth nutrition information even just about small, domestic animals. It does, however, give a great overview and was an excellent companion to my “Equine and Small Animal Nutrition” class in college.
