Reptile Thermostat
It arrived just as advertised. I really liked the design.

Short power cord adapter but long probe.
My outlets in my house are very low so when I plugged the thermostat in and plugged the lamp into it the actual thermostat was awkwardly hanging. The power cord to and from the unit is short but the probe is considerably longer and does reach into my tank. I’ll need to make a small shelf to set the actual body of the thermostat on since it doesn’t reach my stand but it’s only a minor inconvenience. So far it has maintained the temperature in my setup but it’s still to soon to know for sure since fall is usually when my temperatures start to fluctuate. I just want to give my initial take and will come back and update at a further time if any issues arise.

I bought a heat mat for my Dubia colony since they prefer darkness. This thermostat works great with it, allowing me to set the temperature and knowing it will shut off when it reaches the set temp and turn on if it goes below by so many degrees. The critters are more active now that I took the heat lamp away and put this on their terrarium instead. It makes me feel better knowing I have this thermostat for safety when I’m at work, knowing it will shut off and not over heat. It’s easy to set up and use too. I might get another one and see how it works with my heat emitters that I run in the winter for a little extra night time heat for my Beardies.

You need to have one at home
I’d heard this controller worked, but I didn’t know it was so effective. Once I got it, I installed it, and now I don’t have annoying reptiles in my house. I love it; I never imagined it would be so effective. Honestly, I didn’t have much faith in it, but I realized it was so good.
