The Bluebirds and I are VERY happy with these!!
Terrific. That says it all. More economical than the competition as it is a bigger sized package for a good price but the Bluebirds LOVE them. We have attracted a group of them to our yard in southern Massachusetts and they winter over so they depend on their daily allotment of these dried mealworms. We try not to let them down.The worms are a very decent size as well…none of those small ones you find offered by other sellers. We’ll go back to live worms when the weather improves (we have 5′ plus of snow currently on the ground and more coming) but in the interim, these are a very good product and I will be reordering.

Invite new birds to the feeders!
Birds love these. I mix them in with the sunflower seeds they like. The meal worms bring in different species. Love to watch the birds. Naturalist who enjoy wild life say this is a great way to see new birds.

Happy happy chickens!
Our girls love the chubby worms! Great value for the price. Also, a bonus is the resealable bag made of tough plastic. One of our girls, Kimora Lee Chicken, loves to jump up and peck at the bag as soon as it comes out, and she managed to rip a big hole in the flimsy package of our last bag of meal worms, and it was quite a mess to try and clean up. The thick bag from these Chubby worms seems like it should withstand her a bit better 🙂

The worms looked fine and plenty of them but my birds would not eat them.I bought these for some early returning robins but they would not eat them even re hydrated.The squirrels and raccoons loved them though. I guess the robins like live food.

These mealworms are in great shape and I would recommend them. I feed them to chickens, box turtles, water turtles and tree frogs. Birds also like to eat mealworms. If you have bluebirds (or try for any other birds too), Set some mealworms in a pile out on the driveway or in the yard on a dish or lid every morning and the birds will eat them! If you have any green lizard (anole) or fence lizard loving boys, have them set a mealworm in front of a lizard or hold it up to the lizard and if they wait patiently the lizard might eat it! Same story with toads! Fun Stuff! Hope I have helped and given some ideas!!

Packaging looks nice..mealworms look in whole pieces but one hugh problem. Made in China. They do not have the same standards as in the USA. Unfortunately I read they came from USA but not true. These are not refundable. I’m done trying to find safe treats for my chickens.

I buy it for my hedgehog who gobbles them up like I’ve never fed her before (i love her don’t worry). She’s happy and chubby and these worms are amazing. Some worms do come out black, so I wonder if they don’t have the best screening process for dead worms. Nonetheless, a product that my lovely enjoys and is definitely quality for the price.

I like to buy mealworms in the early Spring especially for the returning robins and other birds that need protein and the ground is still just too hard for them to pull up their worms or whatever underground! I sprinkle on the lawn and garden area of the yard. These dried mealworms are perfect and at a really good price.
