Birds love it and it’s full of berries and other treats.
Birds love this stuff! My maple tree is the place to go for birds who are looking for a nice meal in the depths of winter. Nice smell, not that funky grease smell of cheap suet. Of course, that is for our benefit. I don’t actually know if birds care about smell. The blocks fit right in a standard square suet cage. This suet lasted well until early spring when the starlings came back in droves.

Birds love it! Maybe a little to much⦠lol
This is the best suet Iâve purchased. The birds love it. Maybe a little too much! Iâm going through one of these every day or two, easy. Starlings really love it unfortunately, you know how gluttonous they can be. But Iâm loving the woodpeckers and other birds⦠mockingbirds love it too and theyâre fun to have around. Iâm just not sure how long I can keep this up lol

Best Suet
I have tried the rest, now I stick with the best ! What can I say ? Other suet I found had these faults : texture too soft, ( or way too hard); seeds and fruit not mixed very well into suet; barely last a day ; very hard to get out of package which is also very difficult to open; leaves mess on hands when putting into feeder; birds don’t like it. I’m not saying that any one suet has ALL of these faults, but here’s what I found with Lyric suet cakes : solid well mixed suet blend firm enough for flickers and other woodpeckers like the Pileated and jays, yet soft enough for kinglets, sparrows. Very well shaped cakes that come out of the package without a big crumbly mess .Packages are the easiest to open than any other I have tried. The birds LOVE it ! Long lasting, even though they are covered with birds, it’s usually lasting 7 to10 days .It is truly worth the price.

Best suet cake product! Highly recommend! I was disappointed with locally available suet cake (they changed ingredients …like, can it even be called “suet” any more?) so I shopped online and tried different suet cakes. This one is the best I’ve found – this Lyric brand suet rocks! In my area birds especially love the Delite. The birds practically jump for joy when I bring new cakes out!Packaging is just so-so. The easy-open plastic wrap is… NOT. But the quality is so far above the other brands that it’s worth the little extra effort.

This suet is the best! It attracts lots of birds, and even though I have 2 of the suet feeders out, with suet on both sides, the birds are lined up along my fence waiting their turn. I have seed feeders out as well but this suet is always a big hit. I won’t buy any other kind.

Great quality suet; meh packaging
This suet arrived stacked together in a long cardboard box. The majority were compromised with the harder plastic cracked in multiple places, exposing the suet. Not ideal, especially if it’s warm out, but luckily it was Winter. It all smelled and looked fresh so I figured it would be fine and stored it in a plastic tote in the cold garage.The birds definitely love it more than another variety I had that ended up uneaten. I got the peanut variety to attract more of the woodpeckers in my area, and I have seen Northern Flickers and Downy Woodpeckers enjoying it, but I was delighted to see that it brought in a few varieties of warblers and titmice as well. The nuthatches and chickadees will go after it but much prefer the seed feeders.Overall, the suet is excellent, with no added fillers or sugar which the birds certainly don’t need. The peanuts are abundant. The suet stays good for well over a month (nearly 2 months and no rancidity), even in the very damp PNW area I live in (I have an underutilzed bottom suet feeder the birds forget exists until the others become full). The price I’d say is about right for the quality but packaging really needs improvement before they begin shipping in the warmer months.

It’s quality, arrives on time, favorite flavor. If I’m running low on other treats, I make it into little balls and scatter around the property. Must have!!
