Perfect for under our main bird feeder.
This tray works very well. It catches black sunflower seeds that fall from the feeder above. Iâve also added different types of bird treats in there for fun. So multi purpose . Very happy with this. Holds up in rain and drains.

This tray is great! It’s very sturdy and has drainage holes. It was easy to install on my pole system. It’s kept the waste under the feeder to a minimum and the birds even eat from it. Because it’s clear plastic you hardly see it.I would definitely recommend it!

Does not work!
I have 3 different garden poles/hooks for my bird feeders. All have 2 stakes at the bottom that go into the ground to keep the pole/hook steady. This item has a single hole in the center that the stake is supposed to go through, but since ALL the hooks have 2 stakes at the bottom, this is unusable. I have never seen any garden poles/hooks without 2 ground spikes to keep it steady and balanced. Bad design.

Stops squirrels
This is a great squirrel guard for a pole feeder. It’s 18 inches across so the squirrel cannot grab the edge of the tray. However, a raccoon was able to pull itself up onto the tray (I will have to get rid of the tray and use a baffle instead). It’s sturdy- it supported the raccoon. Otherwise, I do not see much use for the tray. It says it catches shells and keeps seed off the lawn which is true, but then you have to remove the feeder and tray to clean it. The water drain holes are too small and are easily clogged by seed, but if I drill them out to make them bigger, the seed will fall through with the water. It does catch seed that falls out of the feeder and some birds eat the seed from the tray, but I would not use the tray as a feeder (put seed in it on purpose). I think the seed would just rot. I also did not like the two big plastic things that hold it in place. I got $10 worth of parts at Lowes and rigged my own pole to feeder connector and sandwiched the tray in between (see pic).

Sturdy
This is exactly what I was looking for. It fits perfectly on the bird feeder pole. It is made of a durable plastic.I do believe the drainage hole either need to be a little larger or more of them around the edge of each area. Water doesn’t drain very well. The holes are in the middle of each area so the pole needs to be installed perfectly straight. Since the water doesn’t drain to well, not sure if it will get moldy.It is definitely is doing it’s job catching seeds.

This item attached easily and did exactly what I needed it to do. I was having a problem with fallen seed attracting chipmunks and even slugs when the seeds got wet. In one day my problem was solved.

We only use black oil sunflower seeds which can leave a bit of a mess to clean up after birdâs shell the seeds! This works exceptionally well to catch the shells before hitting the ground making it so much easier to clean up. We adapted one to hang from a hanging feeder which is working perfectly too! Highly recommend.

Keeps the seeds off the ground. Only time they get on the ground is if a big bird jumps on the catcher and the seeds go flying in the air which doesnât happen too often

Sadly, it lasted only app. 3 weeks and then one of the pole clamps broke.It seems to be made of cheap plastic and does not work how it should.I am very disappointed with this purchase!

The product fits well to the bird feeder pole. It catches seeds from the two smaller feeders, but not the bigger feeder on the larger shepherd’s hook as the circumference is not big enough around.It has reduced the seeds on the ground somewhat and the birds are landing in it to feed.
