Starting with a single product in 1984 the company has grown steadily and now sells over 30 products, with new items being added all the time to thousands of customers nationwide, including veterinarians, breeders, groomers, trainers, pet owners and leading pet and health food chains.

How It All Started

The very first product, Dr. Goodpet Eye-C, was originally created by co-founder Louis Gottlieb and formulated for his own eyes, having dealt with cataracts for years and the blend of Vitamin C and Zinc seemed to work the best. From there he had the idea that this would work great for dogs and cats with eye issues as well, and the rest is history.

Our Aim

Our aim was always to develop effective, natural products that could help relieve the constant allergic reactions and health issues of our pets and dramatically improve their overall health.

    Miracle eye drop for pets
I recently had a challenging experience with my dog, who suffered an eye injury after a grooming session. It was heartbreaking to see her vessels pop, leaving her little eyes in distress. Thankfully, our veterinarian recommended a Vitamin C eye drop, and I can’t express how much of a miracle this product has been!Within just a few days of use, her eyes cleared up remarkably. The drops seemed to soothe her discomfort and promote healing effectively. I highly recommend keeping this in your doggy first aid kit. It’s a must-have for any pet owner. If you’re facing a similar situation, don’t hesitate to give this product a try!

It works for my 9 year old cat, been using it for 2 years when she gets eye infection
This product is so much better than any other products I have used (Pharmaceutical products and repeated failures) on my cat. I keep it handy now so anytime she shows signs of itch/redness/discharge….I apply that.Useful tip: ( I learned much later so it may come handy for you )Show some love to your cat, keep her eyes closed……drop two drops each on her closed eyes…..(of course keep one hand holding your cat) now that Cat didn’t see the drops entering her eyes ( which is a much better approach …she will show some discomfort but more likely will not run away from you) now gently open her eyes….soothe her/him with your voice while the drops will easily go in her eyes (keep two cotton balls with you to wipe excess drops) …wait 30 sec if possible before wiping. Gently wipe the excess discharge/drops ….and you are done. Trust me once you will get a hand of the process this will get easy for your cat as well as you. The drops works definitely….as a kitten she always had runny eyes…from consulting with regular vet to specialist…..applying several formulas….somehow it didn’t work until I read a review about these drops and my cat has fewer issues now. I am so relieved to see her having an easeful time…poor thing struggled every now and then for 7 years. so give it a go…and use the tips above….best of luck.

    Help for a One-Eyed Pooch
My elderly dog already lost one eye to ocular melanoma and so we are trying that much harder to keep her remaining eye healthy. We’ve tried an array of eyewashes and lubricating eye gels, yet the tearing had become severe and her eye looked irritated. Putting her back on antibiotic drops for her eye — when she ended up resistant to them in the past — no longer seemed like a long-term solution. After stumbling across this product on Amazon, I can vouch for the fact that this product is worth the good ratings. No her tear staining is not gone, but it’s reduced in quantity and her eye is no longer red. (She seems more comfortable.) The ingredients in this product seem to have properties that keep the eye from being infected, which a typical eyewash product doesn’t do. I will definitely repurchase this product.

    ⭐Recommend for cat allergies⭐
Our cat is 2yrs old, he’s a house cat and doesn’t typically go outside. We noticed a tear in his right eye this past Friday. By Saturday afternoon his eye was weeping constant (clear) tears and on occasion he was looking a little squinty eyed. By Sunday morning he was barely opening his eye.We began consulting the internet for clues (this is not for the faint of heart, so please be forewarned!) and after a few haunting and gag worthy minutes spent looking online (seriously, just don’t!). We decided by then we’d take him to the vet. But on a last ditch search I looked for cat eye drops, with the sense that it might be useful to see what the OTC drops would do for a cat. This was a better (and less terrifying(!!)) way to search for answers. We found an article written this past June about best eye drops for cats and this product was listed under allergies. We read a lot of reviews, but most of the recent ones were from dog owners and the few that were written about their cat was for conjunctivitis. We noted that for most of the cat owners, this seemed to help in some way. We decided to order it and was pleased to see that it would arrive next day, Monday. It actually arrived early in the day so we went right to it ASAP. It arrived in excellent condition and the amber bottle’s safety seal was intact. We scoop him up in his cat bag…looks like a straight up small gym bag with zippers and velcro. He isn’t keen on having his nails clipped so knowing well enough that he’ll Usain Bolt the moment you try to doctor him for anything we decide it best to bag him. We recommend this over past failed attempts at swaddling! We administer as directed on the bottle. The drops didn’t seem to irritate him other than to naturally force his eye shut in response (he did try to bolt, but the cat’s in the bag! Hehe). We did this twice that day and twice on Tuesday. Today is Wednesday and his eye looks normal again. I wish I had taken a photo of his eye when it was weepy for your reference. I snapped a photo of him today. His eye is open and not teary whatsoever, just a little grimey, but I since wiped his eye and it’s clean again. I’m being cautiously optimistic but feel really good about his positive prognosis (we are going to continue treatment tonight and for another 24hrs to be sure). As for now, 48hrs from the time we began using this product we saw excellent improvement. Its homeopathic so its worth a shot.

Shihtzus are known to suffer with chronic pink/dry eye due to their overly large eyes. My 9-yo male has suffered with chronic dry eye for a long long time. My order arrived yesterday. Two drops in each eye early evening, then again before I went to bed. This morning my pooches eyes were significantly less gummy and red. After just two applications the difference is quite remarkable. Hopefully, with continued use I will be able to reduce the applications and manage him day to day. It is looking very promising. If your fur-baby has chronic dry/pink eye – don’t hestiate. At worst you will notice an improvement if it doesn’t resolve the issue completely. I highly recommend this product (yes, after just two applications).

Used these in the past for my cat that had an infection causing the eye to ooze and be closed. They worked so well, I ordered them to treat my current cats ailment with her eye. Used to be able to buy in store

Scam product(dangerous, does not work and can not be returned)This product burns terribly and cause my cat so much pain and according to my vet may have caused perminate damage to her eye. This product can not be returned reinforcing my beliefe that it is a scam becuase if it was a good product you would stand by your product but you just want peoples money and you are harming their animals in thd process.I used this product once. My poor cat howeld for 5 minutes desperate to remove the product from her eye and her pain was visible. After using the product once in the evening my cat couldnt/didn’t open her eye that night/morning promting an emergency trip to the vet. When I showed the vet this product I was informed that it’s properties are useless and may have cause irreversible damage to her eye. This product is dangerous and exploits pet owners who may not have the resources to seek veterinarian services.Absolutely disgusting.
