Works, lack of instructions or guidance.
I ordered this for my leopard gecko enclosure. This is a very expandable stand, so the versatility is amazing. However, it doesn’t have any instructions so that was really confusing to put together. Especially since there was extra parts that we found out were to use it as a phone stand too. It works well and is adjustable so it does exactly what it is supposed to. Plus you can lock the arm into place.

Counterbalance needed
I chose this Femeom Stand with a couple ideas in mind. I have a light that I wanted to put above me when I am sewing and when not using it for sewing, I wanted to use it to hold my phone when taking photos from overhead for reviews.The seller included a foam adhesive pad to be added during assembly to the underside of the base plate but the pad did not have sufficient adhesive in many areas. See photos. It was as if someone painted the adhesive on and missed several areas. Then the wax paper intended to protect the adhesive until it was installed, was turned back causing the corners to be subject to deterioration.The stand will not support my light that looks almost identical to the one in the listing. If I put a counter balance on the bottom plate when sewing, it becomes a trip hazard. The stand will work well for photos since there are multiple ways to mount a phone or camera with the included accessories and my phone is not heavy. If a light fixture was half as wide as the one pictured in the listing, it would work, if the arm was brought back towards the upright to keep the weight very close to the post. This position may not offer the right angle to put light / heat into a reptile habitat.The price at the time of this review is $27.99. In my opinion this is fair if the abilities of the stand suit the needs of the buyerBased on the details above, my rating is 3 Stars. If the stand would have been heavy enough on its own to support my light, I would be at 4 Stars.

Just what we needed!
We were looking for a holder for the lights for our gecko cage so that we could get in and out of the cage easier. This worked perfectly! It’s easy to assemble once you take your time to think how the mechanics on it work. The temperature in the tank is still holding constant to where it was prior to putting the lights on the stand. We used all the connectors but did not use the cell phone attachment. Again, the only con I found was that the instructions should have included what each of the pieces were to make construction easier. All in all, a great item and our gecko approves.

Versatile solid stand
This metal stand is good for more than just holding reptile lamps, although itâs great for that. Keeps the heat lamp off the surface of the cage lid, and also allows you to angle it just where you want it. Along with the original hook, it also comes with a rotating ball mount and phone holder, which can be used in combination or solo; they screw into the arm easily. The upper arm angles in multiple places, with wing nut tighteners to lock your angle in place. The center pole is in three screw-on pieces, so you can adjust the height somewhat. It is metal, and strong enough to hold a large metal reflective lamp with ceramic heat bulb without tipping, although it also comes with a sticky pad, in case you want to glue it to the floor or wall for added stability. We will be using it for a reptile cage, but you could also use it for filming, or as an additional indoor light holder, or anything that can hang from a hook.
