Could be good, but not the best for high-energy cats.
I have some very picky reviewers of cat toys in my home. They are Bengals, and they’re young and energetic. Their play is more aggressive and destructive than most house cats. They’re also much more inquisitive about the world around them, and get bored easily. If a toy can both engage and survive them, that will be the perfect toy.Well… I’m still waiting for the perfect toy. They tore a feather off of the wand within about 5 seconds of letting them have it, and the rest were gone after their 2nd or 3rd session with it. No surprise there; feathers can’t really be made to survive chewing. To turn this into a positive, this toy shipped with a couple extra feather tips (simply unscrew the one on the wand and screw another one on). This foresight is necessary, and I’m happy that someone in the manufacturer’s office knows cats well enough to ensure that spares were readily available. Kudos!I will say this is an engaging toy, mostly. Cats generally LOVE to pounce on something moving underneath a shroud (like feet under a blanket). This toy meets that desire. With openings in the shroud, it also gives the cats brief glimpses of the toy itself while it spins around. This helps to catch their attention. The main issue I see with my cats is that the wand is too easy to trap. Once one of the cats pounces and traps the wand, it can no longer move and it’s no longer engaging. That’s the downside. Eventually, they’ll get bored of waiting, get up, and then the wand can spin again, and it’ll catch their attention. My cats go through a couple cycles of this before completely ignoring it. This is not a complete knock… again, I have very difficult-to-please reviewers here! This could be a great toy for a less-energetic cat. It’s also not a knock on this specific brand/model, but more the general style and design. For high-energy cats, I’d recommend something with less predictable movement, and something that is more difficult to trap in place.

8 out of 8 cats agree, mom needs to buy another!
We have 8 cats, so trying to find a toy that all 8 are interested in is next to impossible. That is until I found this one. Iâm able to have it on for 2 days before I need to charge it again and do that during an afternoon household nap. One of our cats, Mannie (in video) loves to drag toys around the house and hide them so the sticky suction cup is perfect.

Great toy for energetic kitties!
The kittens are loving this! I am babysitting the kittens and thought they were getting bored in my apartment, so I broke out their Christmas present and charged it. And they love it. When I turned it on they played with it, chasing the feathers, for an hour and a half. After a long nap, they were ready to do it again. They love this toy!

Great interactive cat toy
Toy comes in a very compact box and is very easy to set up – instruction’s are easy to understand. Both my cats slowly approached the starfish for about a minute (see video), but started playing with it almost immediately.The toy comes with three attachable arms with different colored feathers and the toy is easily turned on with one press of a button. There are also three speeds that you can select â low, medium, and high. The material of the starfish is rather thin and does not appear to be water proof, but does seem easy to clean with a wet cloth. The seams around the starfish arms are open, except at the tip of the starfish arm where it has been stitched. Initially, I gave the toy a five star, but had to downgrade it to a four because after five days, my cats had already destroyed and chewed the feathers off of one of the arms so it was good that the toy came with additional feathers. I was able to tie strings together and tape it onto the arm with the damaged feathers, so hopefully the toy will have longer longevity because without some type of feather or stimulant the toy would not be very fun or interactive.The battery life lasted for approximately three days and was relatively easy to charge (approximately 3 hours) with a USB cord that came along with the toy. If your cats do not interact with the toy after 10 min, the toy will go in standby mode but will turn back on if the cat interacts with the toy again within 10 minutes. However, if it has been more than five hours and cat has not interacted with a toy, the toy will turn off which is a nice feature to save battery life.Overall, this is a well priced interactive cat toy.
