When flies are a menace in your stable, it’s time to target them at their source – your horse’s manure. If not treated, the manure from one horse has the potential to produce tens of thousands of flies in a single day. Introduce SimpliFly Feed-Thru Fly Control to your horse’s daily diet, and suddenly you’re turning the favorite breeding grounds of stable and house flies into a No Fly Zone. When fed daily, SimpliFly Feed-Thru Fly Control breaks the fly lifecycle by preventing fly larvae from developing in a horse’s manure. This fly growth regulator is made without organophosphates and will pass through your horse’s body unabsorbed. The feed will instead excrete the active ingredient diflubenzuron into their manure, preventing it from being a viable breeding ground. This product can be effectively started anytime during fly season, but for best results, beginning daily feeding in early spring before fly season is optimal. SimpliFly Feed-Thru Fly Control is a highly palatable mixture that your horse will readily eat and easily mixes in with their daily feed. As part of an integrated, pest management program, you can see a significant decline in this season’s fly population. Keep your stable happy and target the fly problem at its source with SimpliFly Feed-Thru Fly Control. Bugs don’t fly with Farnam, your partner in horse care.

IGR not insecticide.
Works on house flies and stable flies. Works really well too. Gnats and horse flies nope. Gnats still are in abundance though maybe have declined but seems they are persistent.Quite possibly has knocked down the gnats. This is all I really see covering the horse manure so Iâm hopeful that several season/ years of this will steadily drop their numbers.Summer of 2025 has been our first try of this. And we started late in the season to see a noticeable difference in the house and stable flies. Will probably stop feeding come first frost in NC here and stock up for spring and summer.Highly recommend.

For us a 95% reduction of on farm flies
Awesome product. 2 weeks after we started using it we noticed the flies were gone. Saves a lot of money and hassle of using fly spray daily that never really worked. For us it reduced our on farm fly population by 95%. It’s wonderful be able to be outside around the horses and yard, and don’t forget the barn without the flies attacking us all the time. It also pays for itself by not buying gallon after gallon of fly spray.

Very Happy With How Well It Works
Surprised at how well this works. Wish I would have purchased years sooner.

Must be consistent with the application.
This product works. We started year before last and saw a significant decrease in horse flies. Itâs not perfect, but it makes things better.

Don’t expect 97-100%, but it does help
My first season trying this, having started in April. It’s easy to use, the horses like it, and the fly population is noticeably down from years past. Nothing out there will totally eradicate flies – you’ll always have them if you have horses. So it’s nice to find affordable products that help control them, and Simplifly certainly does. However, the company’s claim of 97-100% effectiveness is ridiculous; I would estimate that it’s around 50-75% for us. But to me that’s enough to make it worthwhile, especially in conjunction with other methods (fly bags, masks, occasional spraying). Our two horses went through a ten pound tub in about 2.5 months, so at a cost of $70 this stuff is approximately 15 dollars per horse/per month. For us, the reduction in flies easily justifies the cost of this product.

Easy to toss in feed. Horse dosent snub his nose at it. I didn’t notice any difference with the flies. Maybe I just didn’t use it long enough.

works well with these other 2 products
So we started Simplifly in Spring then added the Natural Fly Extermiator bags all around the horses and donkeys then wrapped poles and all of our trash cans in Giant Fly glue tray rolls by Catchmaster. Not sure which is working the best but I know all 3 together is amazing. Today was 100 and not but one fly while I was mucking out the horses. We have both horses and donkeys and we are all so amazed. The fly paper has to be changed almost every day, but once under control maybe every few days. The paper catches so many flies it’s the craziest think. We are all so happy at the ranch.
