Customers say
Customers find the Roman column sculpture looks amazing and appreciate its size, with one mentioning it’s suitable for a 20-gallon tank. The decoration receives positive feedback as a nice addition to tanks, and customers describe it as decent with good quality. However, customers report issues with sharp edges and sturdiness, noting it arrives cracked with missing pieces. The color receives mixed reactions, with some loving it while others find the green too bright, and the paint peeling off is also a concern.

itâs beautiful
okay so I have a 1000g 7×15â pond with about 20 giant full grown adult cichlids easily 12+ inches and then about 150ish smaller fish- mainly Convicts and Polar Parrots who live and breed together. We are in south FL so itâs HOT 8 months out of the year, so they are constantly breeding. In their defense, they have lived at this house longer than I have, and every year they are able to manage their population. At no point is there ever âtoo manyâ. They are amazing and fierce parents so I canât imagine them eating their fry.. but they do do it as a means of population control.Anyway, I have bought enough giant hollow tree trunks for the big guys, so now I wanted to get the smaller fish some new hiding spots. They had really good big ones, but I moved them to the other side of the pond in an attempt to protect some EBAs I put in there after my adult died in a freak cleaning accident ðanyway lol my bad for rambling. this looked really good and itâs big enough that the bigger cichlids can hide behind it when they sleep. BUT I didnt think the Convicts had enough room and space to enjoy the ornaments. They left it alone the whole 6 hours it was in there which is weird bc they stay nosey lol one would swim by every now and then but no one took up residence inside of it like usually happens with new hides. I have quiet a few giant male convicts/polar parrots that are always claiming everything as theirs.Bottom line I took it out after a few hours and returned it nice and clean. honestly, if money wasnât an issue, I wouldâve kept it because like I said, it was big enough for the bigger cichlids to sleep behind and feel safe. Itâs 10 inches high. But Iâm kind of on a budget right now so I need to spend my money wisely. I might come back and buy this another time though, itâs really very beautiful and it is pretty big.. Itâs extremely well-made and itâs very heavy so I actually wish I could keep it but have to get something with more hiding space at the moment but I will definitely buy this again at some point!! If there was more hiding space I would absolutely keep it but thereâs like nowhere for fish to even go so that kind of defeats the purpose of getting hiding spot for the smaller fishð¤·ð»ââï¸ No biggie. Iâll just try something else on my list in my cart lolps my cat crashed the video, but heâs adorable so I just left itð¤£

Perfect for Eels or fish alike.
I bought a similar Roman ruins about 15 years ago and thought that was the size I was getting; however, the version that is now on the market is smaller, see both pictures (new one has the green on it). My Eel is about 12″ or 1 foot and his other hideout was getting too small. The one that arrived was smaller than my original, but he is still about to get in it better than the one other hide out. Just want you got know the 11″ as described is correct but there is/was a bigger one out there if you need bigger holes. Actually I’m glad this is a little smaller as the other tank in the pic is deeper so the appearance is still good. Nevertheless I give this 5 stars. It still is a big ornament, you must have at least a 29 gal tank would say or it would take it all up. In the pic you can see the Eel noise on the left side of the one in this post (the left one is the one from 15 years ago, right is the one received today).

Looks great!! Husband put it in a 20 gallon aquarium. Love the blue sails.

Illuminating
After a very thorough cleaning, the fish loved it. Bright colors that illuminate at night. But a strange oil came off of it. And it had an order. Light weight.

Fits 29 gallon tall very well
I have this in my 29 gallon tall aquarium and it doesn’t take up too much space but still fills the area at the bottom. I love the titanic so to find this nice ornament for the tank was great! It’s colored well, obviously it’s sunk so it’s not “perfect”, and the material is a resin which is durable. The detail is cool and it isn’t just a cheap little ugly thing. I love it!

Looks amazing has very narrow jagged passages unsafe for fish.
Cons: It arrived broken, the part that’s broken off wasn’t in the box so I couldn’t glue it back on. This means it was packaged already broken. My tank is currently prepped and ready to arrange and I’m on a limited time scale to get all the new decor inside,so i opted to just live with the missing chunk. The holes are all very small and jagged/sharp, if the opening is large the passage aftwards is very narrow with sharp jagged turns almost immediately after the opening. The tunnels would only be good for small fry/babies and are not even safe for small fish like tetra. There are lots of gaps for fish to get themselves wedged into. I will be gluing plants and rocks to block openings so that my fish do not swim in and get trapped inside. I have included some photos to try and give an idea of what I am referring too. For reference I am a small female with small hands. A lot of dremmeling would be needed to make it safe.Pros: It’s a rather large size and true to the measurements listed , looks really nice, is well painted and just plain pretty. I love the look of it. It arrived quickly and on time and was packaged quite well despite the missing piece that was broken off. This is going to look great in my 20 gallon long aquarium and I can’t wait to get it in there for my new greek/roman theme. And it’s kitty approved.

Quite a good size for a 10+ gal tank. Its got great coloring and the fish love the swim in it. The only thing is the inside of the tower is not painted or finished off, so I suggest planting a live aquarium plant in the middle. Its a great purchase, and high-quality item.
