My Cat Likes It and It Works Well
I have a short-haired cat, she hates all combs and brushes. Except this one. It worked very well to remove all the loose hair; it took less then 10 minutes. She seemed to enjoy it. It’s easy to use, just slide it on, and pet your cat. Less loose hair, less hairballs. It is soft and smooth, and there is nothing about this tool that can hurt your cat’s skin. I recommend this for all short-haired cats. I don’t know if it would work as well on a long-haired cat.

This is just perfect for my dog!
I was looking at dog brushes bc I killed the one I had (the stupid metal bristles started falling out) when I saw that some feller had answered a question about one I was looking at. A woman (I’m assuming, who cares?) was describing her dog’s fur and asking if that was the right type for her and he pointed her (and inadvertently, me) to this one. Man, I wish I could shake that guy’s hand! This one was SO much cheaper than all the others I was considering but more importantly, it’s PERFECT for my dog! I don’t know how to describe the fur on a Dachsador (half black lab/half curly-haired Weiner dog [Dachshund+Labrador=Dachsador]) but it’s about medium length (2-3 inches on most parts), super soft on the ends but a little thicker toward the shaft, and it sticks to everything yet flies around in the air in circles and manages to land on the stove. (Hey, I guess I DO know how!) Yeah, what do you brush THAT with? THIS! The bristles aren’t too long but his coat isn’t very thick. I wouldn’t think hardish plastic would be the way to go but he loves it and it works REALLY well! When I’m done, I just pick up the edge of fur left on the brush and it pretty-much all comes off in one lift. Now, I don’t know if it’s the design or the material but an interesting thing to note is that hair doesn’t fly everywhere as much as it does when I used other brushes, either. I used to have to vacuum the area after brushing him but with this, it holds most of the hair on those little nubs. There might be a few fly-aways but not enough to bust out the sweeper. Noice!

Works well, but fur builds up in bristles during brushing
My friend has one for her dog and I loved it so much I had to buy one for mine too. It works so well at brushing out loose fur that I had to vacuum and change clothes after using it on my cat and dog (who I use a slicker brush on almost daily, mind you).My only complaint is that fur can build up in the bristles during brushing and it’s hard to remove, but pulling it out with my wire comb helps. The remaining fur washed out well after brushing is over, though, so that’s good.

Perfect for my small dog
Iâm not sure y people r complaining about the sizing. it is a perfect size for my chiweenie. It takes off all of the extra shedding hair. it does not fall off since it has an extra hole for your finger. it will last a long time. super easy to use.

Great brush for basenjis
Perfect tool for grooming my basenji! (short fine coat w/ undercoat) During his blowout season this really helped keep shedding in the house to a minimum. The brush was gathering sheets of hair in a session and my dog seems to enjoy it. I found tapping the tip edge on the ground easily dislodged the hair (easier than picking it out) and a final rinse with water cleaned it completely for storage until I need it next season.

Short Hair
This works great for deshedding our bulldog. The design makes it easy to hold. Size is perfect and quality is great! Itâs been left outside and she has even carried it around and it is still intact.

Satisfaction dependent on wet or dry use
Mixed feelings. It came in the mail today and I immediately used it as a shampoo brush for my dogs. Appears to be good quality; not at all cheap feeling. It worked alright for helping lather and spread the shampoo but not as well as I hoped it would especially on my short haired dog. However, I do think it will probably work really really well for removing hair from my long haired dog when used dry considering how much came off of him during the bath. Also, as a petite female it fit my hand perfectly but if my hands were any bigger it probably wouldâve been uncomfortably small.

The mini bristles on the end of each bristle make this more effective
This style is more effective at removing loose hair than the competition because of the mini bristles at the end of each big bristle. This is my sixth one because our Dalmatian loves to chew rubber, so if your dog is the same way I advise keeping it away in a drawer.

2nd time buying the brush. Works great on short haired dogs. Bought for my Great Dane and my super mutt who has hair like a pit bull
