Flexible Tubing
After the water pump stops draining for the first time,pay attention to observe whether all the water in the tubing flows back.
(If the water in the tubing is flowed back, which means there is air in the tubing, and the water pump will be able to pump water normally after the air is exhausted.This progress would take about 1-2 minutes,don’ worry, it’s the normal condition.)
Soak the twisted tubing in 50°C-60°℃ water, then it will get straight.
For small power pumps, when installing the pipe, try not to bend it or make it too long.

Works well will minor adjustments, but is worth the price even without.
I will edit this review if the pump fails in less than a year, as a $300 GE with internal pump didnât even last that long.My $300 GE dehumidifier of 1 year started making weird sounds and the internal pump failed with an error code. Of course thereâs no easy way to get in there to see whatâs going on since they want you to buy a whole new machine. So instead I went this route to add in an external pump that I can keep an eye on and easily replace for cheap.This little guy is like 10x stronger than the original internal pump. Itâs a little louder and I couldnât find a good spot for the feet to attach to reduce noice but itâs not any louder than the dehumidifier itself.I added in some adjustments to make it work with my GE and just generally work better. I added an Evil Eye check valve, and assembled my own tube adapter to go from the pump 1/2 inch PVC tube to a push to connect tube, since the GE originally used a push to connect tube, and I like that itâs stiff so it canât be blocked as we run it under a rug. PERSONALLY I WOULD BUY A 1/2 inch CHECK VALVE, water does run back and itâs only like $5. Assemble it so it is inside the tank so any leaks in the future will occur in the tank not on carpet.Oh and for the pump, donât lift it into the air while itâs pumping. It activates some kind of glitch where it wonât work for a while until you unplug it a dozen times. Unplug it before you remove from water. This will not be an issue during normal use.

This little pump is amazing. Using it to pump water out of my humidifier and it works great. Just hope it last with the demand that’s put on it.

Lasted 2 uses and doed
Worked twice and died. So much for reliability. I liked how small it was but itâs a brick now.

Took a lot of abuse, worked well, wasn’t a huge fan of how it failed.
Good pump, I used it outside as a condensation pump to pump the AC water over to a tree in the front yard. I abused the crap out of it, it pumped nearly nonstop for a year and a month or so, and was pumping some algae filled water before it died.I shaved a star off because, when it *did* fail, it failed in such a way that it was leaking at least 55v (probably actually 120v) into the water. I noticed a little zap shen I was holding it and bumped up against a grounded AC unit.That being said, I’ve already ordered a new one. I might see if I can seal the top a little better.

Strong, small, and quiet. Home run.
This pump is awesome. I am having some issues with the evap on my AC at the moment and this little guy easily drains the pan I have set up. I’m very happy with it. Super quiet and way stronger than I figured it would be.

Solid performance but not very long-lived
Purchased during extremely humid July weather to empty out a drain bucket for a portable air conditioner. Performance was excellent, pumping out over a gallon of water a day for 60 days but stopped working suddenly. Itâs nearly fall, so Iâm not likely to need another, but for the price I expected something a little more resilient.

Absolutely Worth it!
This little monster was worth every penny! Itâs super quiet, super powerful, and very well made! The auto shutoff and sensing feature means I got to leave this in my dehumidifier tank and forget about it. Itâs low-profile made installing it no more hassle than dropping straight in.
