Moreover, customers disagree on the product’s effectiveness, with some saying it works well with minimal intervention while others report it doesn’t work at all. Perfect for any cat
These WoLover Silvervine Sticks for Cats are a total hit with my feline friends! ð¿ My cats go absolutely wild for them â they chew, gnaw, and even paw at them like no other toy. The all-natural matatabi sticks seem to keep them engaged much longer than regular catnip. Plus, theyâre great for dental health: my kitties loved chewing and gnawing helped clean their molars and keep their teeth strong. What I love most:Natural and safe ingredients â no added chemicals or artificial scents.Long-lasting enjoyment â unlike catnip toys that lose their effect fast, these sticks stayed enticing for weeks.Promotes healthy chewing habits â ideal for dental exercise and reducing destructive chewing behavior.Overall, Iâm incredibly pleased with this purchase and plan to buy more for occasional enrichment. Perfect for any cat whoâs bored or needs a little fun and dental stimulation!

Excellent
These silver vine sticks are excellent for cats! Cats respond to silver vine similarly to catnip, however, using these sticks gives the added benefit of helping clean and prevent plaque from building up on your cats teeth. It takes a little preparation, I tend to de-bark the sticks gently with a pair of scissors. My cats then took to them instantly. I do recommend throwing the stick away once they have worn it down after some time just to prevent any accidental ingestion of wood chunks. They are fairly thick, and the wood is the perfectly middle ground between hard and soft. All around, these are incredibly function and have some of the best benefits a âpet toyâ could offer. I highly recommend trying these out to entertain your furry friend and keep their dental health under control.

1/3 cats liked it
Only one of my three cats was interested and not for very long. But when he was interested, boy oh boy was he INTERESTED. I did shave off the bark as instructed. Maybe not the strongest, but not bad for the price. Cats gonna cat. They lose interest quickly and would rather play with a bottlecap in a box you were going to throw away 3 weeks ago but kept for their entertainment. No safety issues so far, but he doesn’t really bite into it, he just rubs against it.

My cat was not as interested as she is in catnip and I had to peel them to make them matter to her
I have a stray cat that I care for that loves cat nip toys. She stays in my fenced backyard on my back deck and so I guess she is no longer a stray actually. Anyway, she loves cat nip toys and I love watching her play and have fun with them. I got these thinking it would be similar but they are hit or miss with her and I expect it is the delivery of the silvervine. She will chew and play with them only for a short while and I have to peel off the outside to make them interesting to her. She does like them but nothing long lasting and intense as a toy dippped in or filled with catnip. I’m glad I tried them and will continue to use the ones I have with her.

great for rough chewers, but be careful
These sticks are very useful! One of my cats has always been a biter/gnawer. She is extremely rough on any cardboard boxes lying around and loves to chew on anything she can. I started giving her these sticks as a distraction whenever I notice her chewing on something I donât want, and she usually goes for it. The sticks are around 6-7 inches long and are very lightweight. My other cat is also attracted to their smell, and neither of my cats usually is affected by catnip, so this might be a good alternative if you have picky kitties like mine :)Two things to be aware of:1: The sticks will break and splinter with extended rough use. I was trying to sleep one night and heard cracking noises, turned on the lights and saw that my 8 month old kitten had bit the stick so hard that it broke into separate pieces. The structure of the sticks is long fibers, so if the cat bites hard enough it will flatten out with different pieces at the edge. Not a big deal, just prepare another stick and switch it out. Be sure to swap the sticks quickly if you notice that theyâre broken for the safety of your cat. The âsplintersâ are pretty large so they arenât really dangerous for humans living in the same areas.2: The bark needs to be scraped off before giving to the cats. Iâm not sure if the bark is safe for cats to ingest, but regardless it is flaky and will be swallowed if not removed, so I imagine that could cause issues. I just use the sharp edge of some scissors like a knife and carve it off over a trash can. The bark comes off pretty easily, so itâs not a terrible inconvenience. I think my cats like the smell of it right after it has been stripped, so it immediately gets played with once I give it to them.3: The sticks are pretty small, so they will get lost easily under furniture or appliances. Depending on their shape, they might also easily roll around on hard surfaces, which could make for an excellent chasing toy or a safety hazard for people possibly slipping on them. Thankfully they are very lightly colored once you strip the bark, so they should stand out against a typical hardwood floor.Overall, I have been very satisfied with these sticks and will be repurchasing once I run out.

Helpful bite sticks
My kittens found these sticks very entertaining and enjoyable. I think they are liking biting into the sticks for their back molars that are causing them pain.

Dried Sticks But Kittens and Cats Did Not Like Them
I purchased these sticks for two kittens and a cat and thought it would be a nice treat. They simply IGNORED them and walked away. I tried to encourage them to chew on them by moving them toward them but they were highly uninterested. Somehow I got the impression that they had cat nip in them and they were designed to excite cats and kittens, but they obviously are simply dry sticks that wasted my money.

Real sticks, literally.
This is literally sticks from a tree, soaked in catnip. We peeled them as instructed they got a sniff and a pat, that was it.

cats are huge fans and if they leave it unattended the Corgie devours it .

Dont waste your money on these you dont get what is shown and they take so long to get to you and are opened at customs

Not sure if itâs just my cat, or itâs the productâ¦but this was a waste of money
Nicolette T –
My cat loves these but I do have to shave off the bark with a veggie peeler. The bark flakes off really easily and I donât want a choking hazard. He plays with the sticks more so than chewing but itâs entertaining for him.
