Dangerous Product â Sparks and Electrical Issues!
I was extremely disappointed and, frankly, a little scared after using this UVB reptile lamp. Everything seemed fine when I first plugged it in. But after a few days, the charger started making a faint humming noise. One morning, when I tried to turn it on, I saw small sparks coming from the plug! This is completely unacceptable and dangerous. It appears there’s a serious electrical problem with the adapter or wiring.I immediately unplugged the lamp, but the plug felt very hot to the touch, which means it might have overheated. To be sure, I tested it in another outlet, and the result was the sameâa slight electric shock and visible sparks. This is a serious safety hazard, especially in a household with pets.Beyond the safety issues, the lamp itself performed poorly.The timer function was completely unreliable. Sometimes it wouldn’t turn on at all, and other times it would shut off hours earlier than expected.The lamp head also got very hot during use and felt cheaply made and flimsy. It wobbled, and the adjustment arm wouldn’t stay in place. For a lamp I use for several hours a day, I expect it to be more durable and safer.I strongly warn everyone against purchasing this product. It’s poorly made, unsafe, and not worth the risk of fire or electric shock. I’ve stopped using it and contacted Amazon for a return and refund.

Gets way too hot for a UV light
This little light gets way too hot for a UV light. It feels more like a heat lamp and is a bit concerning that it might overheat. The whole outside is hot to the touch, not warm. It does have an odor to it when it’s on as well. The light is bright, and the timer works well. I’m hesitant to leave it unattended for too long.

Lots of options, but simple easy design! Bonus accessories a big win!
This kit has everything you need!! It has a variety of options, but is really intuitive – no instructions needed! It looks small but covers a good sized area! The uvb test card is so helpful!! It comes with both a hanging hook, AND spring hooks! Most lights don’t include these different option accessories and it’s a shame. So I’m really happy to have it all with this! It has a timer like the new lights are coming out with, game changer! I’ve used a lot of different lights, and this has everything I prefer. Simple design, but the right features and accessories! Well worth the price. It’s well made and the cord is really long too.

This is a great reptile lamp. My sulcata tortoise seems to like it a lot. With other lights, he would hide, but with this one, he enjoys staying out. I love that it has different light settings and a timer. It’s very easy to set up.

3-6-12 hours – Automatic cycle timingThe previous light intensity was fixed, and the strong light always made the bearded dragon avoid it. This one can adjust the brightness by 25%/50%/100%. In the weak light mode, the crawling pet won’t dodge and is willing to approach actively. I always forget to turn off the lights for the bearded dragon, which causes the lights to stay on for a long time and wear out quickly. This lamp can automatically cycle and set a timer. If you set it for 12 hours, it will turn on and off at a fixed time every day. You don’t need to worry about it at all! Three lighting modes can be switched as needed. With the full spectrum on, the bearded dragon looks more energetic. It’s amazing!

There are two types of breeding boxes at my home: the open type and the one with a net cover. The double suspension of this lamp with a hanging rope and a spring hook is so flexible! The net cover uses spring hooks, and the open type uses lanyards. The position can be adjusted freely to ensure that every corner of the climbing pet can be exposed to the sun. With the UVA mode on, the activity level of the crawling pet has significantly increased.
