Pets, Pumps & Pops⦠So Many Uses!
Having had a reptile collection and from raising chicks in the past, I know the benefits of a good heat lamp. When I built a pump house to house the hardware for my new well, I used two heat lamps set on a thermostat to prevent the pipes from freezing (one was a backup).And this year when I was testing a heat lamp on a stand, my 95 year-old father began to use one on his arthritic kneeâ¦So I needed a number of bulbs (as well as back ups) and unusually cool weather this summer has me stocking upâ¦This set of two smaller bulbs is a godsend! I like having a back up of the same brand so I can monitor the first bulb for an approximate burn time. And the 75 watt I can use safely on my trio of toads (and Dad) while the big boys keep the pump house warm⦠There is a handy scale on the box, indicating the temperature at different distances, so it would also work set close to pipes in a situation they might freeze.The box is a bit confusing as it lists (and shows) a set of basking and infrared lights, but only red was checked on the box and I did receive two infrareds.

Good heat lamp bulbs for a lizard enclosure
My 9 y.o. daughter has two leopard geckos, so we’re always looking to keep heat lamp bulbs on hand. These infrared heat lamp bulbs definitely fill that role well. These bulbs help keep the lizard’s habitat adequately and properly heated. We find that these bulbs typically last between nine and 12 months before burning out. However, we don’t want to unduly stress the lizards, so we’re always certain to keep spare bulbs on hand. These bulbs do what they are intended to do, well, and for a decent price.

Good for reptiles, not for chickens!
This would be a great bulb for you if you have an aquarium with reptiles in it. The small bulb would not be good to use off label for chickens though. The small nature of the bulbs make this a bad choice for that use. It is as simple to install as screwing in a light bulb and puts off a good amount of heat.

Tiny but mighty
This bulbs works well! It puts out heat immediately!!!! The second it comes on, you can feel it working. Iâm used to working with bigger bulbs in my chicken brooder (included for reference) and this is better. I can feel the heat from over a foot away. Iâm currently using it in my shop to my fingers warm while I work. Iâm going to put it into a smaller lamp so it takes up less space. I love that I still get great heat and use up less room!

Reptile Heat Bulbs
These work great to add heat to our reptile cage. The red lighting is good for nocturnal reptiles, who cannot handle the bright white lighting. The lights have lasted for over a month now, and seems like they will last a while. Good pricing for a 2 pack. Be careful of changing the bulbs;- heat blubs are exactly that, HOT.

Good replacement bulbs for your beardy
These red basking lamp bulbs are identical to the ones you can find on offer at big box pet stores for a much better price. I ordered these to make sure I have extras so my beardy is nice and cozy at night and when the weather gets cooler and I need to turn the thermostat down.

Worked in my bearded dragon terrarium
I have a bearded dragon in a terrarium that is heated by heat lamps. Recently, my nighttime heat lamp burnt out, and I needed to find a replacement.
