Easy to apply, lovely light scent, looks great
In the first picture I had applied the balm to the top left square already – it did darken this bag slightly but I used it on the two others that were lighter leather and it didn’t darken them noticably. I think the difference was that they had been taken care of and were not as dried out. The balm was easy and pleasant to apply – I used a microfiber cloth and then buffed it with some horsehair brushes. I don’t know if that actually did anything, but it was fun. The balm smells amazing. It’s very subtle and doesn’t linger. It isn’t irritating on your skin. The leather seems softer and smoother. I bought this initially to put on a leather bag that I had recolored. I let the color dry for a few days and then put this on it and it went on wonderfully and gave it a nice finish. I also put it on a new to me vintage leather briefcase. That was in pretty good shape already, but it buffed over a few scratches and worn places by the handle really nicely.The bag in the first picture – I have had this bag for over 16 years. My dad picked it up for me at Goodwill. I used it as a school bag daily in college, and as a diaper bag with all of my five kids. Since I got it I have never done any type of leather care for it. I didn’t know that was a thing. You can see that is was pretty scuffed up and uneven, and there were some deeper cracks on the handles in areas. The treatment definitely revitalized the leather, it looks even better in person. I don’t usually write reviews – I hope this is helpful to someone! I thought it was kinda fun and very satisfying, actually. Now I want to find more treat with it.

Great for doc martens/other such leather shoes and boots
Great for conditioning my doc martens. I’ve used it multiple times on multiple pairs and I’ve barely dented the tin. Best applied with a microfiber glove. Leaves a classy shine until it’s fully absorbed and expedites the breaking in process so my ankles don’t get ripped up. Also has a light, pleasant smell and doesn’t leave any streaks on dark leather.

Oooo! Its good, Looks clean, Looks like its protected and last longer. Good price!, Comfort and mess slippery. Its gets the job done!. Not much instruction but what I did was apply to any leather. Wait 45 mins, then with a fiber cloth, wipe all around.

Greatly improved 15 year old leather couch. Great packaging
I have used similar “Saddle Soap” and leather conditions that once might find next to shoe polish at the grocery store. This product is much better that the big box and grocery store brands. The metal tin is a threaded screw top instead of a unthreaded pull to open top. The screw top provides a much better seal. The grocery store competitors often dry out in six months or a year. I used this product on a high end top grade leather couch purchased at Room & Board. The couch had obvious signs of fading and some surface abrasions. The photo in the review was taken after applying the product to half of the couch arm. The improvement was immediate but some of the improvement goes away when the product dries. This couch has not been conditioned in more than 10 years. Perhaps it will take a few applications. This product is easy to apply and did not stain the couch. It does not work miracles but it certainly improves leather and does so at a reasonable price point with little effort required. This product is made in China. I would buy this again.
