Really great quality salt blocks
Nice and solid, great quality salt blocks! I ordered these for my horses stalls and they are perfect. The rope made them more convenient to hang from the stall fence. They are pretty solid and there were no chips or breaks. Though I ordered them for my horses, the deer found them and have begin using them as well.Though Iâm not a big fan of feeding deer, as I believe it can unbalance the natural order of things I don’t mind giving them the opportunity to help supplement their diets. In the wild and here in Southeast Georgia supplements are hard to come by and this is a great way to do that.Overall, these are some really great salt blocks and they are high in nutrients for my horses and even wild deer. Thankfully, I can expect for these blocks to last at least a month minimum. Once this set runs out, I will definitely be ordering more from this brand. I am very happy that I can give my horse exactly what she needs at an affordable cost. I do highly recommend these because of the great quality and convenience.

Horses love them
My horses loved these Himalayan salt licks. They are used to all kinds of minerals and salt blocks and they accepted these ones quickly, so I will assume that they taste good! The rope comes in handy for quick and easy hanging, or you can just toss it into a feeder and let the horses have at it. They have lasted quite a while since they are minimum 7lbs each according to the label, and they feel every bit of that 7+ pounds. At $27 for a 2 pack, they feel a bit expensive, but they are definitely high quality and you can’t go wrong with them.

My horse will actually lick these. She is a chronic salt hater and will not take any electrolytes or even plain salt. I wish the rope was a little longer but I used twine and it worked perfectly. Seems like it is very hard so she will be able to lick it all winter

Hanging the salt lick is the only way to go. I’ve wasted a fair amount of money if salt blocks over the years. No matter what you put them in, they all get wet and melt.This is a no Brainerd.Hang it up under cover from rain.I hung mine from a beam in the barn.My two horses love that block like it’s a bag of potato chips.I prefer to let my animals self regulate their salt intake, and this is the way to do it.Price is about the same for comparable items at big box feed stores.Good simple product.

My horses love these Himalayan Salt Licks, and choose them over regular salt blocks. I keep them available to them at all times, and they like them hanging from the included ropes, or loose in their feeders. The salt helps ensure that theyâre drinking enough water, which is vital for digestion. These blocks contain only Himalayan salt, which also provides trace minerals. These blocks are heavy and much harder than compressed salt blocks, which horses can bite chunks off of, and risk choking. They also last much longer outdoors, as they donât melt away, and stay rock hard in the rain.

I got the Organo Himalaya salt lick for my mare who lives in a boarding situation of a stall with a small run. I am hoping that she will enjoy this nice hard salt if she gets bored. The salt blacks are the weight listed. The sisal rope is strong and long enough to go around panel pipe with enough left to tie a square knot. If you need a longer rope, it is simple to run a longer piece through the hole in the middle of the salt block. The salt came well boxed with foam cushioning. The salt is hard and dense. A block should last a long time for one horse.
