Not real leather .
These are not leather . They are pleather with fabric in the middle. That being said if they were as described I would have given a great review as I like the size of leather straps height and length and the buckles werenât bad either.

This looks like it will hold up decently but I canât be positive yet, however I am hopeful.

Will Work Just Fine
Leather is good and wide, plenty of length and can have holes added to tighten up if needed. Edges of leather are kinda sharp, could use some roughing up before use if on a horse that moves a lot, might cause sores. Not the highest grade leather, but good.

So, like others, I had to come back to look to see how these would go together. Definitely not genuine leather. As another reviewer pointed out – it is only single stitching. Iâd be worried for the durability of these. As others have noticed – no padding. Definitely only for emergency use with a horse that is well-trained to hobbles.

Do NOT use
NOT REAL LEATHER and then they are SINGLE STITCHED and with thread thatâs already busted straight out the bag. Stay far far far away! Buckles arenât even heavy duty. These are not suitable for even a horse thatâs hobble trained and respects them. These are extremely dangerous!!

Not great quality
First off, for material, I don’t believe these are leather and they don’t seem sturdy enough. They also have absolutely no cushioning on the inside, so the buckle on one side is going to be right up against the horse’s skin causing guaranteed rubbing. They also came with no instructions so I couldn’t figure out for a while how these actually came together to be used. Would not recommend.
