Bruce loves the lights.
My grandson has a turtle named Bruce. We figure he lost his way at hatching time and came to my house instead of the creek behind my house. So we fixed Bruce a home and he loves the heat lamps. Also he is growing really fast. I would recommend to a friend

Lamp too hot
Whole lamp is too hot to touch after 25 minutes so it can not leave on more than 25 minutes. is this normal ?Thanks.

I was trying to domesticate this gecko that lives in my apt in Hawaii. I think him and his wahine come out and go hunting for food randomly. I set up a heat lamp because i saw him use my house lamp for warmth, but i know it wasnât doing anything. So i put it out when he comes out sometimes, but itâs hard cause he doesnât have a schedule. But he did like it the day i put it on for them!

The light appears to be good quality but it gets way to hot. We have a smaller tank and it got so hot we couldn’t even touch the rock in the tank without burning our hand. My husband got his temperature gun out and it was above 100C…..which is insane. I could see using it on a larger tank that didn’t have any plastic on the lid and you could have it quite far up away from the actually tank. We are not going to use it because I don’t feel it’s safe in a child’s room.

This 4-pack of GOZILLA 50W Reptile Heat Bulbs is very handy!These are the exact quality I would expect out of a highly recommended brand. They heat as they should in the right tank and do not die quickly. The only downside note is that these are not very good at properly heating a tall tank, so they donât provide the heat my reptile needs (this is partially because my reptile was recently rescued and is in dire need of a new tank to accommodate the type of reptile they are, hence why my rating is still 4 stars).

So the light works good for heat but I put a uv tester under the light and it has no uvb at all

Ordered replacement bulbs. They fit well into the socket of my existing lamp, there are no issues screwing them in. The lamps provide good heat (they almost feel like they get too hot, but I have no way of measuring temperature on my current lamp it’s off or on).The bulbs themselves get very hot so be careful in handling after the lamp has been on.Currently listed at $14.99 for the set of four, this pack offers good value as compared to other bulbs that can go for up to $10/each.I’ve been running off the same bulb now for almost a month and it has shown no signs of burning out.
