Cool product.
I was recently gifted a go pro. I do a lot of hiking with my dog and was excited to record it from her perspective. She is fairly larger but the harness fits her. If it’s mounted up top it can move around a bit when she runs which is to be expected. On our next hike I’m going to try mounting it to her chest instead. So excited to try it out on future hikes.

Typical GoPro junk, no instructions, the harness wouldn’t stay on the dogs back, it loosened up and the dog chewed halfway through one of the straps.

Great quality item but be careful where the GoPro is mounted if theyâre roaming free
I have a 9-year old 51lb female Siberian Husky. We moved to a farm and she goes off on adventures for 1-2 hours by herself, sometimes coming back soaked (she found the pond next door) and sometimes head to toe in red mud!! I bought this so I could attach my Hero 4 and see what she gets up to on these solo adventures. I did have some difficulty getting the clip part into the harness mount. FYI, You lift up the grey rubber part on the clip, slide the clip onto the harness mount and make sure itâs pushed all that way through, to lower the grey rubber part. You need to do that to lock it into place.Learn from my mistakes.1. If youâre attaching this to your dog to see what adventures theyâre going on, on your farm, DONâT attach the camera to the back plate but attach it to the breast plate. If you attach it to the back plate and your dog is shimmying under barbed wire fencing exploring, the GoPro will get caught and the very smart dog will wiggle out of the harness to set herself free. Sad day!I attached this to my husky. It was snug and secure. We did some trial runs with no issue. After some jogging and her body shaking, it leaned a little to one side, but still captured everything great. This is solidly made and great quality.She didnât complain about it at all!Unfortunately on her ACTUAL solo adventure, I had an epiphany that the GoPro camera will get stuck on barbed wire and sheâll get stuck and I wouldnât be able to find her. 5 minutes later she comes home without the GoPro or harness. Now I get to walk my property to see if I can find it near the fences! Dammit!! She did have a smile on her face, wet fur and burrs! I hope I find it because that video would have been golden!

Works Great with my Chocolate Lab
This was such a great idea. After reading other review of the GoPro Fetch cam, I was hesitant, but took a chance and purchased it anyway. Attached the harness to my beloved Chocolate Labrador without any hassle. Hooking the clips was easy enough and the straps didn’t bind his movement whatsoever (that I could tell). At first he wasn’t too keen on having the device on his back, but he quickly forgot about it when I brought out the one thing that trumps anything else (even squirrels)…the tennis ball. Is the video bouncy? Well, yes – he’s a dog and he bounces, jumps, runs, sniffs, rolls and does all the things dogs do, which in turn creates a rather choppy video. But, the purpose of purchasing this was to capture life from the dog’s perspective, and in that regard, it does exactly what it was made to do. It stayed on his back just fine – didn’t have to do many adjustments to keep it straight. Found that putting the camera above the dog gives a better view than attaching it below. Can’t wait to take it with us to the lake. Have only had this for a day, so as time progresses using it, I’ll add any additional findings I stumble upon (good or bad). In the meantime, enjoy the short video of the harness’s maiden voyage.

Worked OK until the dog chewed the straps
Used it on my 35 lb spaniel. The straps are stretchy, so loosen as he wore it and rubbed behind his legs, causing him to chew the straps. He typically wears a harness (rotated between 3 different designs) and has never chewed them. He got halfway through the straps of the GoPro harness in 15 minutes while he was off leash.

Looks great, functions poorly
Initial thoughts — still testing.Out of the box this harness looks great. I put it on the dog and spent a few minutes adjusting until it looked just right. However, with the camera mounted, the harness lists to one side. I have adjusted it numerous times and this continues. I have noticed that the straps loosen very quickly so adjusting the snugness is ineffective because it will not maintain.I also put it on my dog to just wear around the house without the camera to see how it held up. He scratched and unhooked the belly strap. There is nothing to keep the straps in place, they just hook on. So if he’s running around outdoors and brushes against things, he could easily unhook a strap that way as well.My fear is that, off leash, he could lose this harness. Plus, I can’t get video that is not crooked because the camera / harness will list to one side. I plan to test this some more and see if I cannot overcome this but it might require modification to the harness and I don’t see the point in paying this much for something that I have to modify to make it work. I might as well make my own harness mount if that is the case.If I overcome these drawbacks, I’ll update this review.17 October 14 updateAfter multiple hikes I found that the harness requires constant readjustment because there is no way to lock the straps at the point you adjust them to. Straps loosen within minutes and even faster when wet. It worked a little better on my 46 pound dog than on my 66 pound dog (holding adjustment slightly longer). I really cannot understand this poor design with no way to properly adjust the straps so that they stay in place. The straps have no buckles, they hook onto a loop in the strap. The dog can undo these when running around by brushing against a tree, brush, etc. This has happened multiple times.I am considering removing the straps and attaching the platform to something else.

Product came in fast! Donât use it as much as I thought we would as it is very shaky when the dogs run around with it. But for the most part it was a good buy !

As much as I would like to add some height to the back, I can’t but the front is sufficient to capture the moments. Placing the camera on the back cannot capture much if your dog’s head is going to be blocking the lens all the time. Hahahahaha!

I decided to go for GoPro’s Fetch Dog Harness instead of a cheeper version. The main reason if I was going to strap an expensive camera to it I don’t want it coming off and that the fit is good and holds the camera at a good angle. And it does. The harness has a 3 straps. 1 round each front legs and one round the belly. The harness sits well on my Chocolate Labrador. I took my time getting her used to it. Which didn’t take long as I was treating her with chicken. The camera mount are fixed well to the harness and I had no problem after she came out the water and shook. I can’t fault it. I just can’t wait till the winter and seeing her going mad in the snow.

Buena opcion para utilizar con tu perro, si tienes una cámara GoPro o del mismo estilo, es excelente opcion para utilizar con tu mascota. Lo use en un boder collie mediano/chico y en una golden retriever mas grande y se ajusta perfecto. Buen producto
