Sturdy and Attractive !
I LOVE these feeders. They have a metal base and dome. Not like other plastic feeders that crack. The rim around each one lets the birds stand on the feeder to eat. They are very easy to fill, not having to fiddle with clips or notches, plus there is a sturdy wire hanger instead of rope or plastic. Considering they are made of metal they are very light. This is now the 2nd season I am using them because of the quality. I highly recommend.

Nicely made, and good quality
Appears to be well designed and sturdy, with one very small glitch. The little “keeper” that allows the roof to slide open is a bit tough to work. I can only imagine the difficulty with gloves on….we’ll see when winter gets here.

Just what I was looking for
It’s a lovely little feeder that is well-made, easy to fill, and perfect for hanging from my back deck. I had bought a feeder prior to that one which was so large and heavy that it drooped below the deck railing and was hard to see. This feeder is small, but still holds plenty of seed which the finches, cardinals, chickadees, and house wrens are all enjoying.

Well made, easy to fill
Very well made and not too heavy. Easy to add seed and to adjust hanging wire. I appreciate that it is mostly metal and not built with plastic. Yesterday I saw my first bird having a bite to eat! It takes a little while for the birds to find a new feeder.

Solid feeder, but seed does not auto disperse
This is a sturdy bird feeder, not flimsy plastic like others. The seed bin is on the small side. The perch and area for the seed on the perch is also small.I have found the seed does not disperse from the bin area to the perch area after the birds eat what is exposed. For this reason it is not very efficient. I have to keep adding bird seed in the perch area because the seed does not drop. If I shake the bird feeder some of the seed comes out, but I shouldnât have to do that. Kind of annoying.

Easy to refill. I wish the hanging wire was adjustable. I added a dome to better protect the seeds and birds against the rain, and a seeds catcher.
