Overall great product!
I used to wash all our hats in the top rack of the dishwasher, but this was so much better. I pre-sprayed the hat with Shout stain remover, sealed it up inside this washer cage, and tossed it in the wash machine with other clothes (warm water, normal cycle. The hat came out beautiful, almost like new! The dishwasher won’t be seeing another hat.

Very easy to use
These hat covers have a good idea with adding mesh fabric and microfiber however the flap for the hats bill cracked in half while in the wash, it’s also inverted so doesn’t suck up under the hat bill.One opened completely while in the wash so the zipper locks are OK but not completely secure. I also saw a good amount of lint on the edge of my hat after it had dried. I had nothing in the wash but the 2 hats so the lint had to have come from the bags themselves.I’m sure they would work much better in a dishwasher and normally I hand wash my hats so these would be perfect for maintaining the hats shape while drying.All in all I can see the bonuses but I also see a few flaws in the design for my needs. They are easy to assemble, just zip and go, and they are functional.7 of 10

Works well in my top load washing machine without an agitator
âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸Iâm really happy with this hat washer set! The design is sturdy and the protective mesh bag adds extra peace of mind. I made sure to carefully follow the instructions, and my hats came out of the wash perfectly clean and still held their original shapeâno warping or bending at all. Itâs such a relief to be able to toss my caps in the washer without worrying about ruining them. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to keep their hats looking like new

Works well but follow the instructions
Works pretty good but read the instructions first. The first try I didnât have the plastic hat insert in the inner net and didnât move the zipper past the fabric lock at the end of the zipper track. Came all the way open and the hat, plastic piece, and wash bag all separated and the plastic broke. Second hat I did correctly and the bag stayed close with the hat inside. Got it pretty clean but hard sweat around the brim likely needs to be done scrubbing with a small brush. Overall they work well just make sure to secure the plastic piece and pull the zipper past the fabric at the end of the zipper track.

Elegant solution to washing your baseball caps
Was looking for a way to wash baseball caps without deforming them. This looks like it will do the trick. The hat is enclosed in a plastic cage which holds the shape, and zips shut to remain in place. Was pleased that it came with 2 complete units, I was only expecting one. Did not come with any marketing material or user guide, but the usage is pretty self-explanatory.

Holds up in top load washer
I have a lot of hats and had grown tired of hand washing them in the sink. So I thought that I would give this a try. Thus far, I’m cautiously optimistic that my washing by hand days are through. The quality is good. The mesh body is thick and well-constructed. The plastic cap frame is removable, if you’re like me and remove it to use as support while the hat air dries. I have used it three times now and the hats have come out clean and unscathed. Just make sure that you properly secure the zipper beyond the elastic tab. I didn’t get it right the first time that I used it, and it came unzipped during the wash cycle.

Nicely designed good quality cap cages
Had these cages for about a week and ran 2 loads of laundry with them, worked well!Great formed protection for my caps, fits various sizes and shapes. The design is thoughtful and the quality overall is very good! The only hat that had a bit trouble fitting in was the one that has a very curled up lip (or whatever we call that front part of the cap), but even then it worked well protecting the cap from getting mingled and messed up in a load of laundry.So far I have run a couple of loads of washing with these, both times the caps came out fully washed and unharmed. Love the blue fuzzy hair inside the cage, I think they helped securing the cap in place and served as gentle massages for the caps!Highly recommended!

Did Not Work
The cap washing cage did not change the appearance of my hat hardly at all. Areas that were most soiled looked the same upon removal from the washing machine. At that time, I also noticed that the plastic cage for keeping the cap’s shape was flattened. Luckily my cap was able to be popped back into shape, and I decided to let it air dry, rather than go into the dryer with the rest of the laundry. In the past, I have hand laundered the same cap under a tap and using a small brush. My results at that time were vastly superior to what I received with this cage. I was hoping for great results, but my expectations were definitely too high. Won’t be using it again.
