I have a small Malkie (Maltese and Yorkie mix).She has a problem with tear stains, which usually make her eyes look dirty and the hair around them get clogged. This product really helps keep her hair from tangling and makes it easy to clean. The quality is also great, and it works perfectly for small dogs!

This is one of the those impulse buy gadgets that works. Its sturdy, narrowly spaced (similar to a flea comb) metal tines are arranged in a rounded shape that readily gets under eye gunk to comb it out–but use it gently, don’t jerk; plus I’d recommend softening the area fur first with warm water. After almost daily use on my 10 lb. poodle mix, this gunk comb hasn’t bent or come apart. The plastic handle could benefit from being an inch longer, but since I have a small hands it works for me.
