LARGE CRACKS
WORST ENCLOSURE EVER HAS TOO MANY LARGE CRACKS IN BETWEEN WALLS MY BABY JUMPER ESCAPED AND NOW I HAVE NO SPIDER THIS WAS MY FIRST I AM HORRIBLY UPSET AND CRYING THIS IS ABSOLUTELY AWFUL NEVER BUY THIS PRODUCT ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE A BABY

Opens from the top, not ideal for jumping spider but okay for babies of other species
Nice enclosure, was easy enough to set up and put together. You’ll need to supply some things inside to make it nicer like moss, a hide (jumping spider house), sticks, leaves and so on. One thing I wish I’d noticed before I grabbed this is it doesn’t open from the front but opens from the top making it not 100% ideal for a jumping spider because they like to build their web homes high and it’s a high probability it’ll build on the lid so you are likely to ruin the home each time you open and close so I’d highly recommend a hide or doing some diy to make a false lid between the actual one and the enclosure. It’s super small so I’d only recommend a jumping spider to go into this or a baby tarantula or even baby/hatchling crested gecko till you know it’s eating.

Difficult to remove protective film, only top access
This is a good size for an arboreal sling or a juvenile jumping spider. Jumpers need a little more room as adults because they’re super active! The misting bottle functions, the tweezers are fine (but plastic), and the eyedropper works as expected. I’m not sure what to use the (plastic) spoon with but I’m not an expert spider keeper. Only dipping my toes in the hobby.The enclosure itself is nice and very clear. It was super difficult to remove the brown film that protects the acrylic. I ended up breaking nails on it. I had a really bad time with assembly. There is one extra rubber band included for connecting the pieces together. I think this qualifies as a good starter kit but it won’t be large enough for the whole life of your spider.Besides difficult assembly, the only way to access the enclosure is from the top. Most species of jumpers (if not all?) will make their webs at the top of the enclosure. You don’t want to keep messing up their webs when you need to access them.
