Wicks well and hay doesn’t stick
These pads work very well as “scatter mats” in the cage. They wick moisture, and scraps of hay come off easily – the hay does not become embedded in the material. I use them over nubby mats so that those mats do not become filthy after one day’s use.

I use these for my gunnie pig and they work so well with durability and leakage! They are so easy to wash just clean them off and throw in the washer!

This makes cleaning my guinea pig cage a lot simpler and less messy. The bright colors are cute, but more importantly, they make cleaning so much easier. I just lift the whole mat with all the bedding and waste, shake it into a trash bag, and Iâm done. Theyâre washable too. Love these!

Fell Short of Expectations
I got this for my foster guinea pig to use as a liner for his cage, but it is not a good stand alone liner.It fits the Midwest cage perfectly. The colors are very cute. It has a nonslip back. and it washes up well. I washed and dried it on hot and it didn’t seem to shrink.Hay comes off this liner easily and doesn’t stick like it does to fleece. While it absorbs well and there is no leakage underneath, the surface tends to stay wet which isn’t good for piggie underbellies or feet. So for that reason I covered it with a piece of fleece. The fleece absorbs the guinea pig pee and wicks it down to the pee pad while staying dry on top. Plus the fleece is softer than this liner and my piggie seems to feel more comfortable on the warmer and cushier fleece.
