Great Product to Clean Your Fish Tank.
Great Product to perform water changes in my freshwater tank and vacuum the tank. I am a fairlynew fish keeper, and I was having the most difficult time using tank vacuums that did not have a little pump on them to start the flow. The other products I purchased before this one did not have a clip on them to hold the tubing in place on the bucket. This vacuum/water changer is so easy to use. The flow starts by simply pumping the handheld mechanism, and I didnât have water spilling everywhere because the clamp hooks it on the side of the bucket. Well made and sturdy. I highly recommend.

Works great! Makes cleaning aquarium easier!
Excellent aquarium cleaner. Pumps water out. Pressure is slow but gets the job done. Picks up all the nasty stuff on bottom of the aquarium. I hooked it up to my outside faucet. Took off the gardening hose and put the pump adapter on it and it fits perfectly without any other parts. After I glided the water out I pumped water back in using the same outside faucet. You just turn the adapter switch to off and it will automatically pump clean water into your aquarium. Better than lugging around buckets of dirty water back and forth and then having to lug more clean water to fill. I would definitely buy again.Heads up: I took my turtles and fish out of the aquarium before cleaning. Also make sure you put water conditioner if you decide to use faucet water! Kills the chlorine that will harm your turtles or fish

Good siphon for fish poo
Definitely works well at removing water and debris but not that good at re filling your tank sense it works off gravity, good price for an easy to use siphon to get rid of fish poo.

Removable grate made the purchase worth it
I bought this for the removable grate in the siphon. I have shrimp, and donât want to suck them up out of the tank when cleaning.I did wind up weaving some nylon thread through the grate to make it finer, as I still thought it was too big for shrimp. That said, if you donât have shrimp or fish fry in your tank, the grate size shouldnât be a problem.Rating five stars anyway because I wouldnât have been able to customize it to suit my needs if the siphon grate wasnât removable. It was easy enough to take apart and put back together, so it works for me.Beyond that, it works better than siphons Iâve used in the past. I donât have to fight the hand pump to get the water going on this one. The siphon head is big and picks up plant debris ok. Make sure you have some long aquarium tweezers to remove plants and algae from the grate when it gets clogged and youâre good to go.

Works great! Easy to use and works well with my stratum substrate! Even gentle enough to clean my plants without pulling them out of the substrate!

Good for 10+ gallon tanks, wonât work for anything less than that.
The product works well for my larger fish tanks but not so great for the smaller ones that are 10 gallons or less. It was easy to assemble and does not leak but it can be difficult to get water out of the tube once it is in there. So after a cleaning you may just have some nasty water sitting in the tube until next cleaning. It picks up sand well so in my tank that had sand substrate it would pick up that but not the waste because the fish waste was larger than the sand. Itâs a bit difficult to clean but other than that I have no real problems with it. I would say if you have smaller fish that are not major waste producers and if you are okay losing a bit of the sand substrate (if you have sand) then this product is worth it and good for a beginner fish tank owner/keeper. But I would advise against getting it for smaller tanks because it will not work as well and may not work at all.
