Works perfectly!
I got a new Android head unit for my E46 with factory nav and HK sound, and needed an extension cable to connect it to the factory harness in the trunk. There are many options, but the A0590 cable from EONON was exactly what I needed. It has the correct 16 pin head unit connector and CANBUS box attachment connector and extends that to the factory ISO quadlock and 17 pin connectors in the trunk. It has connectors for both the factory harness as well as the board monitor radio in case you need to connect them to preserve some functionality. It even includes an antenna extension.Unlike the short harness included with my radio, this cable includes the necessary wiring to turn the radio on in key position 1 and to activate the factory amplifier without any wiring modifications at all. The power wires are heavier gauge than the signal wires and match the factory wiring harness. All in all it’s exactly what I needed and works perfectly.

Great cable, high quality, simplified install!
Perfect. I needed this cable to swap out the head unit in my 04 330ci ZHP that has the full screen/HK/navigation. This cable is about 17-18 ft long and i had maybe 1-2ft to spare after running it under the dash and glove box and under the carpet and back seat to the trunk. Its excellent quality and my new eonon head unit powered up immediately with no sound then I remembered I had to plug in the blue remote wire that kicks the stock amp on. Sound is about like stock only clearer adt he head unit is better. Still uses the stock speakers and amp but now I have Bluetooth, and all the modern features like CarPlay where my stock deck from 04 has sticking buttons, no BT, only fm and CD plus it was a pain to use. Bought the eonon deck for $120 and couldnât be happier. Itâs about their cheapest but it looks great, is 9inches, goes in the e46 dash and looks stock. No plastic to mess with, itâs plug and play. Itâs a pain to remove the seat and take parts of the dash apart and the trunk in the bmw has all the clips, carpet, 3-4 different large modules. Honestly the trunk was worse to disassemble than the dash and seats. I took the opportunity to also run RCA cables along with the eonon cable so I can now add amp/sub with ease. The battery is in the trunk so you save work and about $100 because you only need like 2-3 feet of high quality power/ground cables for the amp which I got the RCAs, power cable and fuse for the amp for about $30 total and itâs 0 gauge OFC cable. Normally it would have cost me about $100-150 for the power cable if the battery was located in the engine compartment. So this was one thing with the BMW that didnât cost more than normal. I highly recommend the eonon cable and their decks if you have a e46 or another old BMW needing new head unit. Just be sure to buy a deck made for the car and check what cables you need. Most e46s wonât need this huge cable. The stereo will actually come with the cables you need if you buy a eonon made for the e46 so no splicing a wire adapter. The stereo will plug directly into the stock wiring. It makes swapping out the old stock bmw deck so easy and so clean.

Fit properly. Works great so far.
Functions perfect fits like it should. I had oe Harmon Kardon stereo with gps 6 disk and stereo brain in the trunk. This plugged directly into their stereo no problem. I just wish it had the antenna plug included in the bundle that is also in the trunk.

The information provided to install it is very poor
Instructions were poor, it took me several hours to find reliable information on Internet then one connection was not tight, i thought no problem should be fine it was only for almost a week then the head unit stopped working and a smell of insulation was immediately noticable, i thought my car was on fire!!! I removed the head unit damage some parts of the trim of the car while doing it and what did I find out??!! The connection had a melted wire, i am in the process of replacing it now

Head unit connector did not fit
The end that connects to the amplifier the rear of the E46 fits fine (comes with a couple options). However the end that connects to the head unit did NOT fit. It required cutting the ends (there are two) and careful splicing of the ends that came with the head unit.

Description stated it would work if you connections that matched the attached photos. I had the connections this company said I needed to have, this harness did not work as this company stated.Do not recommend
