Customers say

Customers find the wildflower seeds easy to plant and grow, producing beautiful blooms throughout the season. The seeds come in good quantities, and customers appreciate their bright colors. However, the germination rate and flower variety receive mixed feedback – while some report excellent germination and amazing blooms, others experience no growth at all. Moreover, the quality and value for money also get mixed reviews, with some finding them amazing and worth the price, while others consider them poor quality and not worth the money.

    Wildflower seed mix
I followed the instructions and sprinkled the seeds in these planters with the intent of transplanting them into the corner of my yard at a later date. ItҀ™s been exciting to watch them grow. This is the growth progress after approximately 7 weeks.

    Great germination rate and percent!
I bought a mix pack of butterfly friendly seeds to put with all the milkweed I’ve been planting. I am THRILLED with the germination rate! Fast and many! If anything I need to work on how many I spread. Just did another small area 3 days ago and again there are lots of sprouts popping up! Can’t wait to see what they turn into!!

Took 2 years for better blooms
It took 2 years for better blooms, but the wildflower garden looks good. I have used mulch each year, and flowers pushed right through with very few weeds.

Not terribly expensive, but didn’t grow terribly well either
We have an extremely shaded backyard. I want to say that right off, because these did not grow well in our yard. I had kind of planned to over seed with these, where we already had some wild plants growing in a corner garden. I don’t know that many of them grew there, because it certainly didn’t seem to have any more flowers 3-4 months later than it did when I planted them. On the other hand, most of these plants are green Only the 1st year. They do not flower until the second year, and some of them only flower every other year even after that. They grew a little better in a separate, cleared out space that was just dirt, where planted them, watered Reliably every day for 2 weeks, and then about every 3rd day for several more weeks. More of them sprouted, but probably still less than half. That space got a couple of hours of sun on a sunny day, but still not anywhere near direct sun for even half the day.I did not review these right away, because I wanted to give them a fair chance. Now I have seen them over two growing seasons, and I never did see most of the types of flowers listed, at all. The plants that are just green did come up in the 1st year, and some of them came up in the second year. But very few actually flowered. I knew we had a challenging yard for growing wildflowers from seed. But I still expected them to do better than that. I guess this seed mixture is relatively inexpensive for a good reason. Maybe it would work better In a yard with more direct sunlight?

    Big bag of seeds
I haven’t planted these yet because it’s too cold still, but I’m really happy with the size of the bag. The directions were super straight forward and I was able to figure out what growing zone I am I’m with he map provided on the back. I’m really hopeful that this will be a great batch of seeds and my wildflower bed will be full of beautiful flowers this spring/summer!!

Sowed the seeds in the middle of June so maybe they’ll show up next year. The only thing that has sprung up 2 months later are about a dozen 8″ high small white flowers. We’ve successfully planted many wildflowers over the years so we’re hoping the late sowing is the answer. I’ll update this in October.
