Doesn’t hold up
I loved the bag. It was attractive, the web front was solid and it was the perfect size. The zipper was crap. The first bag zipper broke the first day and the replacement bag zipper broke after a week. Replace with a heavy duty zipper and heavy duty stitching and it’s perfect.

Interesting idea for a haybag; but I don’t think zippers, haybags and horses should mix….
I really like this idea. The dual straps on each side which you can swap to a different configuration.I’m iffy on the zipper. While I like the idea of knowing my horse can’t just yank open the top of the hay bag to get to what’s inside (or eat down the side of a top flap), I’m not exactly sold on the idea that a zipper top is a good idea either.This weekend was the first time I used it, and I had to be careful not to overfill it or I wouldn’t have been able to get the top closed. And since this was the hay/alfalfa for my horse overnight (and we had thunderstorms rolling in, so I KNEW I didn’t want to get up at 5 or 6am to refill it), I usually stuff the bag excessively full before I go to bed so he’s got plenty to eat overnight so he’s tanked up before our endurance/CTR rides.But, with the zipper top, I had to be careful with how much I put in there.Also, once this zipper breaks (and it will, because…horses), this bag basically will be landfill material. The zipper already got caught on a single strand of coastal that got in the teeth, and while I hadn’t overfilled it, it was full enough (2 flakes of alfalfa and a flake of coastal [and a SMALL flake of coastal, if I’m being honest]) that I had to try and crush the bag to make the zipper close.I think I would like this bag much more if it had some other method of closing the top that was secure, but less prone to breaking or coming off the track or just a horse playing with and breaking it.Overall though, it worked for what I needed it to.
