Too flimsy, not worth the money
Fantastic customer service, the pole is a little flimsy but the provided attachments are my cats favorite. Great fun for the kitties.

cats love it
The cats love this. The string is a bit on the short side yet I understand this because I purchase another version of this type cat toy that has a long string which get twisted up on the spool if I am not careful. This one I have never had an issue with. The string is rather strong as well which I really did not expect given it size. My cats have clawed and bitten the string yet it is still intact…with only a couple of snags present on it after many play sessions. I am very happy with this toy and so are my cats.

My cats love it but there are a few issues
I have 3 cats that age in range from 1 year to 2.5 years. They all were fascinated with this product. The oldest and youngest would chase after it and jump in the air to get the feathers. their favorite by far are the feathers attachment. The other attachments would be better if they could be filled with their favorite catnip (Meowijuana, Seriously, try it). The line on the reel is a bit too short for any decent “casting” and the reel makes some of the loudest clicking when reeling in. However, the line can be replaced with something longer if/when necessary. My oldest cat likes to chew the string when he catches the prey. The string has enough length to it to allow me to whip the feathers across the kitchen floor and send the feathers scooting under the stove, fridge, island where the cats will eagerly wait to pounce on it when it comes back out. The bell attached to the toy isn’t too noisy and tends to grab the cats attention.Now a word of caution. Notice I didn’t mention much of my middle cat. Here’s why: The toys attach to the line with an actual fishing snap swivel. These are metal clasps. These hold the toy to the line very well. Unfortunately, my middle cat likes to grab the toy with his mouth and then run off with it. Since I cannot keep up with a cat going full throttle, once the line goes taut the toy and metal snap swivel get pulled out of his mouth. This then freaks him out and he becomes wary of the toy. It could potentially cause chipped or broken teeth or a cut inside the mouth. I will most likely have to change out the metal snap swivel for some sort of plastic break-away clasp (and a longer line).

The line was way too short!
The little lock slide on the left side of the real was so tight both of my thumbnails were cut and split. Bad design Lock and very stiff to use I was very disappointed but I’m keeping it and adding a real fishing line weight and additional line.

My cats love it!
I’ve gone through a lot of different cat toy fishing rods, but they always broke on us. I hope this one will not, but I’ll update my review within a year (if it makes it that long). This is the first toy ive bought to have a wheel. It works great!The only issues I have with this product is the loud clicking when reeling the string, it’s on a string instead of a wire, and the way the end of the string was tied looks terrible. But those are just personal dislikes. Great product and works as described!

You get what you pay for I guess
First it arrived with the handle broken off the reel. Then the string came unglued from the reel, so I just tied it off. Then my 1 year old cat was able to pull hard enough against it that it snapped the rod in half. Do not buy. Itâs poorly made garbage.

Super durable!
My cat is pretty aggressive with his toys and weâve broken a lot of fishing rod toys but this one is holding up very well! He hasnât pulled out the feathers either.Itâs also very long so it has a good reach which is great for our very active cat. The fishing reel is a bit of a gimmick – we donât really use the reel – but this toy overall is great value for money!

CATS ARE OBSESSED
Best cat toy I have ever purchased!! My senior cat, and sensitive cat, both absolutely love this too and go feral for it. I am disabled, and this toy makes it so much easier to play with them. My whole household takes turns playing with it. Wish there were re-fill toys I could purchase. Don’t hesitate. You won’t regret it.

These are great cat toys, but very easy to break.My cat really enjoys these toys and plays with them, but they are not made to last long.The base of the cat toy is easy to assembly and disassembly.The set comes as a suction cup with 2 slots for the 2 spring wands and 7 teaser replacements with bells.Overall good set ,but I was hoping that they are made to last longer when cat is playing with them.Hopefully my review was Helpful for you.

The ONLY thing is the metal pin that connects the string/wire to the actual wand popped out very easily. I just used crazy glue on it and it hasnât been a problem since.The wand extends so much that I can sit and drink my tea while mindlessly swinging this around for Sully to play withIt comes with so many attachments. The variety is really good. So far Iâve just used the tiger coloured tail + bell. Itâs pretty tattered but in tact still. Really can take a beating.I have to hide this toy because sully will climb anything to get it. When I get it to play with him – I have to pick it up very slowly because if the bell jingles on it heâll come running in like a starved gremlin and will try to run up me to get it.10/10. I highly recommend getting this.EDIT NOVEMBER 2023Still my cats favourite toy. Attachments last so long. Super durable. Once i pick this up he comes running.

This toy is so well thought out and made so well! Easy to change teasers over. I was able to give my 2x 3mth old kittens the best work out. They’re so worn out after chasing the teaser around for 10 minutes
