I was very curious to try this stuff because I’ve been suspecting that I have a lot of buildup on my scalp because of how quickly my hair would become oily after washing it. I looked into a lot of products, and i am SUPER paranoid to put stuff in/on my hair, so i hesitated but bit the bullet and purchased this. I waited until my hair was quite oily and wanted to see how well this product worked if i used it alone and wow! I wet my hair and it was so oily that i couldn’t comb my fingers through it, but i poured this stuff on my head in sections (like above my ears in a line, from temples to back and then center top) and rubbed it in. It was confusing because the product comes out like water, but it lathers up when you scrub! It has a strong peppermint smell almost, but nothing that bothered me, in fact it was kind of refreshing and i have read that peppermint oil is good for stimulating your scalp and encouraging hair growth. I tested a patch of hair first to see if my hair would agree with the product and if i was allergic to anything, so i poured a little on a patch of hair behind my ear at first and nowhere else, and waited a couple of minutes. I’d recommend doing that for any hair product honestly. After a couple minutes i noticed it didn’t burn or cause extreme shedding or make my hair shrivel up so i went ahead with putting it everywhere. Within seconds i was able to easily comb my fingers through my hair as if it just melted away the oil?! It was crazy. I scrubbed all over and tried to be gentle, whenever i use my fingers instead of a shampoo brush i have a little more shedding than normal so I’m going to attribute the slight increase in shedding to that. It was hard to tell how much was in my hair because it feels like nothing, but i got used to that. I added a little more to my hands here and there if i was unsure. I rinsed it out and lingered to make sure it was all out, and then wrapped my hair for a little while i did my after shower stuff and then blow dried(cold air, just the roots) it as normal and my hair was SO clean! It got rid of all of the oil, my hair was just lifted and free flowing like a weight had been lifted off and my hair sat very nicely! It’s even parting better.I used to have to wash my hair every 3 days and by the 3rd day it was just too gross to let anyone even see me lol, but i have so far gone 4 days with it still looking and feeling clean! Important to mention that it did not leave my hair feeling stripped or dry at all, and the peppermint oil made my scalp feel faintly cool like minty gum, but i liked that. My hair felt soft and healthy the whole time and was never made to feel like it was over washed. I’m very happy with this! I might even use it instead of shampoo since i had such a good result and believe me, not having a time limit of 2 1/2 days of getting to be in public without having to wash my hair is such a relief. I have more time to do other things instead of worrying about how my hair feels/looks. On the 4th day, i can still move my fingers through my hair easily! Love love this stuff.I did have slightly more shedding on the right side of my head, but nothing concerning, or extreme. After i blow dried my roots, the slight shedding stopped. It could be due to my scrubbing and not the product. I have noticed that every time i switch my shampoo product that my hair will shed a little more than normal for the first couple of washes before going back to normal, so it’s probably not the products fault. I’ll come back to give updates if anything changes!

Amazing ACV Hair Rinse – Works for Both Oily & Dry Scalps

Nice Hair Rinse
I use this hair rinse between washes, so I wash my hair with shampoo and conditioner once a week, and then I use this hair rinse one time in between. I like it a lot because it leaves my hair feeling and looking clean, but not stripped. It also makes my hair very smooth and shiny. I like the smell and it leaves a nice tingling feeling on my scalp.It took me a couple times to get used to the applicator, but it works great once you are used to it. I have never used a hair rinse before, but I will keep using this between washes as it is convenient to use and it saves me from needing to shampoo and condition all the time.It doesn’t significantly increase the time I need between washes, and my hair still gets greasy as it normally would, but I like it as an alternate to shampooing and conditioning all the time. Also, it is a bit drying for my hair, so I make sure to use a leave-in conditioner afterwards.
