Inaccurate description and no response from customer service
The product description says the material of construction is stainless steel, but the product is just the silicone cover for a steel lid. I contacted customer service to find out how to purchase a replacement steel lid to use with this silicone cover. I would be willing to pay more for a lid just to make the bottle useable again and keep it out of a landfill. Unfortunately no one responded to my messages. My daughter loved her kitty water bottle but there is no strap to keep the lid with the bottle, and the lid rolled out the door of the school bus with no way for her to retrieve it. Based on the bottle size and the character designs these bottles appear to be meant for children, and this canât possibly be the first time a child has lost a lid. I hate to throw the whole thing away, but it seems like that is what asobu wants us to do.
