This is a very sturdy, thick , and well made squirrel feeder…. a gift for my 9 year old grandson that had to play with it a while before hanging it up!! Heâs sure to get hours of enjoyment watching the squirrels eat out of it

Cute idea but bad design
This is a cute idea but it doesnât hang properly. I had to tape a heavy bolt on the bottom of the nose so it would hang lower and the food would not fall out.

Squirrels don’t understand the assignment
Squirrels don’t like being mocked. We got a laugh for the 2 days it was up, then we awoke to this. The eating of the jaw kinda makes sense, that’s where the food was…. I feel the missing eye is a warning.

It was the perfect companion with our morning coffee. Watching the squirrels struggle and twirl to get the goodies out. (I used a mixture of peanut butter and nuts.) All the squirrels were given names…so much fun!! But one day I neglected to make sure there was plenty of my pb/but spread smeared on the inside ….and this one squirrel must have been tettering on the edge to begin with. .. because he ate holes, BIG holes, all the way thru, big chunks just gone , thru a quarter of an inch plastic. Unless peanut butter tainted plastic is one their day to day foods… I’d say this lil guy just lost his squirrel mind and refused to believe there wasn’t any left. Did he feel betrayed by the horse head maybe? Was it an act of revenge perhaps? Either way… I’ve bought another one. It’s just too much $#@&fun. I saved the defiled horse head… Come halloween, I’m going to stuff the holes with fake blood soaked gauze and stick it on a pike in my front yard…. If I end up with two, so be it. It’s a win win either way.

Fun feeder!
I got this for my parents for Christmas and they send me pictures and videos daily, so much fun to watch those squirrels with the horse head. My only complaint is that it didn’t come with a string to hang it up with, but they figured it out. So far the squirrels have not chewed it up yet.

Very entertaining. I only use nuts inside the head and the squirrels find them with ease. Will be purchasing more like this.
