A truly amazing brush. I have two Collies, and this brush is the very best. I have tried them all. My dogs donât mind being brushed at all with this brush, and I get bags full of hair each time. Iâm so glad I took a chance on this brush.

Get this brush for long hair double coat dogs
I have two Australian Shepherds with different hair types but both with a double coat, so that means soooo much hair.My girl sheds all year and itâs non-stop when I brush her. My boy doesnât shed as much but has longer hair, so still noticeable shedding.My first use with this brush and I removed so much more hair with the longer prongs and faster than with any other brush Iâve used it the past. The short end is good for their legs and top of the head.I even got way more than I expected from my boy too.I immediately love this brush.

Good brush for wolly.
I have a Wolly haired large breed dog, a malamute with double coat. I had an older one of these, diff. brand, that the tines were bent so I needed a new one. This works just as good, grip is soft enough and comfortable. I dont really understand the other side so I dont use it. Wish the tines were longer but it is good enough.

Before the brush arrived⦠it was looking hopeless!
I hardly review items on Amazon, but this brush came this morning and weâve already found it to be a lifesaver! Or at least, saved our beautiful fluffy dog from being shaved at the groomer!! Sheâs a doodle with a double coat – we usually get her groomed once a month but lost our regular groomer and missed a month. Wow! What a game changer – she liked it, let us brush her and we were able to demat her. Weâve tried so many other products and this is the first time that we found a brush to be completely easy to handle and extremely effectiveâ¦. AND she was mostly agreeable to letting us brush her.

This is far and away the best coat rake I have ever had. Unfortunately one of the teeth bent immediately during the first use. I am hoping the rest of the teeth stay straight. Otherwise the brush works like a dream and I really love it. If any more teeth bend I will change my review

two great brushes
i’m embarassed to say how many brushes i’ve bought for my dogs over the years. i’ve tried most of them. furminators, slickeez, slicker brushes, etc. most work great for what they do. but i really think this is my current favorite brush.i have two does, one with short hair and one with long hair, both are double coat and shed like crazy. so i try a lot of things in hopes of making grooming faster and easier. the problem was that i had to use two or three different brushes to brush out both dogs. this brush really saves time by having something that’ll work on each dog.this is actually my first rake brush. i usually use a slicker brush or furminator on my longer haired german shepherd mix. it works just as good as those brushes in removing loose fur. it’s easier to clean than a slicker brush and way more comfortable for her. the two rows of teeth are tapered but dull and they each rotate individually. i think this is why i don’t encounter any pulling when brushing her out like i would with the dematters.my other dog has shorter hair. i had good success with a furminator and slick-eez. this brush has a blade like edge similar to a shedding blade brush.while i think those other tools are a tiny bit better, having to bring out just one brush makes daily brushing so much easier.the only question mark now is durability. if this thing doesn’t fall apart or rust too soon, i’ll consider it the perfect tool for me.

This works excellently on two of our three dogs. perfect for our two GSDâs, was amazing how much undercoat it helped remove⦠Pins on these can be ruined easily i think cause the first one we received had broken pins on it and had to be replaced, replacement was perfect though..Oddly this does not work at all on our newish 3yr old husky mix girl, took no fur off of her at all. her fur is a really thick double coat and maybe she already shedded her undercoat right before we adopted her so perhaps why it isnât working for her???either-way love this pet rake comb, not so much the shedding blade part of it though, it has done nothing on all three dogs..

Does not comb out hair well.
I don’t know why this comb just does not work. It looks identical to my old one, except that this has two rows of teeth. But with one swipe, my old comb picks up three times the loose hair. Incredible.
