Readings are off
After testing these strips against liquid chemical home tests and pool store tests, I’ve found the readings to be off by a large margin on the CL and PH scales. Since these are 2 of the most important measurements, I will no longer use them.I may have received some old stock because I know these chemical tests degrade over time. I’m impressed with the seller, though, because he reached out proactively to make things right. Seller gets 5 stars.

Useless
No mater what water quality is tested (I even added soap or bleach just to see a different result) all tests show the same colors, they are just a bit stronger than how the strip comes from the package because it’s wet only, not because it reflects a real measurement of chemicals. Totally useless and disappointing.

A waste of money time and effortOver the past 10 years we have been enjoying drinking quality Berkey filled water, and recently moved to a new home and wanted to check to water quality of water at our new home, so we ordered these drinking water test strips.They were a waste of time, money, and effort as they failed to accurately indicate differences with water contaminants and additives when tested across several samples that were clearly very different. All we confirmed was that pool water was heavily Chlorinated compared to other waters. Tap water in our region is chlorinated and fluoridated, but the strips failed to indicate these differences.

Les bandelettes semblent donner les bons résultats. J’ai acheté ces bandelettes afin d’évaluer la qualité de mon eau potable. Pour m’assurer de la pertinence des résultats, j’ai fait faire un test complet par un laboratoire accrédité, incluant les phosphates, les nitrates, les métaux lourds. Les résultats révélés par les bandelettes étaient les mêmes que ceux du laboratoire.

I received the test strips, fast postage.I followed the directions and tested my filtered water and tap water. Both strips showed the same – “0” Fluoride. Yet tap water is fluoridated and my filter is supposed to remove 99%. All the other tests were also the same for both tap and filtered. It isn’t appear to change any colours of the original strip. Therefore, I conclude the strips don’t work.
