Dakota logsdon –
Great sump light and refugium light.
Light is amazing and crazy bright. Reslly easy to used om different setting. Completely submersible. Definitely does anything you need it to in an aquarium. I added it to the sump of my saltwater aquarium as a macroalgea light and it is helping my chato grow so much. Definitely worth the money.

Easy to use product! Perfect for sumps or background lighting!
Easy to use! The system was a quick guide so made fast to set up. I personally use it as a light in my sump so I can see what I am doing. It is bright and has a great remote control. Itâs a slim look so itâs easily fit in corners of the tank. It has a little to no weight making it easy to handle. I like the color options you have white blue and 50/50 and itâs easy to switch. Making it super functional at the price and like I said a quick set up!

Not full spectrum, but lots of cool color options.
Super bright fish aquarium lights!! These lights are very nice – I’ve had problems with the lids of my aquariums getting green algae build up, and blocking all the lights, so I wanted to try these submersible lights so I could put them under the glass. These work great – and bypass the green algae issues by going directly in the water – or right above. When they get all nasty, I can just pull them out, and wipe them down and put them back in – I don’t have to move around a big piece of glass and worry about breaking it.Now you’ll see in my included photo I ordered 2 lights – they look identical, down to the controls, the light, the price etc – but pay attention – they are actually different – one of them offers “full spectrum” and one only offers, white, white/blue, and a few other RGB colors – but not a true full spectrum – this specific listing is for the one that does NOT offer full spectrum – it’s the light on the LEFT in my photo that is inside the 20 gallon long tank. I don’t plan on having any live plants in this tank, only fish and some misc. decore – so these will be sufficient – but if you want live plants – go find the other one. These have a lot a decent amount of adjustability – especially for the price, for around $21 you’re able to adjust the brightness, set timers, and select colors. Not as fancy as some of them that have the 24/7 setting that changes like it would in real life – but it does a good job for the price. Overall – as you can see I have 3 more tanks to light up – unfortunately those will all have live plants, so I’ll be going with the other option (which was actually cheaper too) for those tanks – however this one would work if you need a light that offers multiple colors.

Amazing Light!
Amazing product! Fits really well in my 75 gallon tank. I love the different modes and colors that this light comes with. A perk is the ability to set a timer. Comes on each day at the same time and turns off at the same time each day.Highly recommend.
Mr Aloha Friday –
Low wattage, not full spectrum and basic timer functions are limiting, but this is excellent for me.
I chose the 22.8 inch light for my 35″ long tank. This is perfect for me. I don’t like perfectly even lighting end-to-end in my tanks. Instead, I use light to change up the aquarium environment for the fish, more like it would be in nature with the sun moving over the water all day. In their natural landscape, there would be shady spots and full sun areas they could choose. So, I like to provide darker, cavernous areas for the Corydoras and some of my older, skittish Platys to relax and retreat in, and use less light in those spaces. In addition to this way of lighting making the fish happy, it makes Mrs Aloha Friday happy! This tank is a little sanctuary in a nook for playing games and reading in our living room. It’s not in a fish room where it can look industrial, so she appreciates the mood lighting I’m using for the fish. Happy wife, happy life! ;o)Additionally, this set up allows plants with different light requirements to thrive in my tank. To achieve this symbiotic tank, I basically use multiple sources of insufficient lighting. LOL Three others, this being a fourth. All of my lighting is out of the water, so I was excited to have a submersible. While I like to keep my Corys feeling safe and peaceful, I also need to make sure they’re okay and see what’s going on to clean the back of the tank. So, I placed this an inch or two above the sand, on the back of the tank. I can turn it on when needed and pull it up whenever I want to clean that patch of sand or the light itself. You need to use the suction cups or the light will float. I don’t have the light exactly where I want it yet because I have a heater I’m about to replace with a stronger one in the way, so it looks a little crooked. This isn’t a full spectrum light, nor does it pretend to be. It will still help your live plants without the red light, which supports color. Blue spectrum supports growth. For this reason, if you’re experiencing an abundance of algae, you’ll want to ease up on using the blue and go with white until it clears up. Or, reduce the amount of time you’re using blue. Would full spectrum be better if this is your only light? Yes.Though it could be brighter for some, at 10W it’s about right. The uplighting effect is exactly what I want and looks fantastic. I can see the Corys without upsetting them too much! The whole tank looks different when the light is on, which is exactly what I wanted. The fish are curious when the lights turn on and off in different places. It gives them options as to whether or not they want to be in light or not, and I like their being able to choose for themselves. As others have remarked, this uses a basic timer that starts when you turn it on. While I don’t use the timer because I’m only using this light on an as-needed basis at this time, I recognize others find it essential. A good timer is a basic feature.Should the company decide to make a few upgrades, the price of about $30 as of this writing would be more justified. As it stands, with not being full spectrum, the light being underpowered for its size, and not having a full featured timer, I’d say this is a great light for me, but you might want to shop around to make sure it fits your needs.
