Completely eliminates squirrels raiding your feeder!
A great little feeder especially for small birds. It has completely defeated the pilfering by neighborhood squirrels. Only issue is the small size excludes our favorite bird, the Cardinal. Guess there is not enough room for it to perch and feed. Same with our resident woodpecker. He comes around but is unable to alight on the small perches. We do get to see all the small species up to and including redwinged blackbirds. Have begun to see brightly colored little finches and other songbirds. Only drawback is missing the larger species!

Cute and functional! Tricky for squirrels
Heavy duty and good quality bird feeder. Works well for the *little* birdies. We definitely have a squirrel thief problem.. so far they havenât gotten in this.. So we will see.. ð¿ï¸I like that it keeps the water out of the feeder during rain and looks good in my ânaturalâ yard.Love feeding the birds! So this is a good one to add to my âcollectionâ haha

Nice Feeder
The birds are not very fond of this feeder. I think itâs because the little roof over the feeding ports is too close to the feeding ports. Might be ok for the small birds but larger birds have to duck their heads to avoid hitting the roof overhead. It is squirrel proof! The squirrels slide off of the domed lid. This feeder is well made and attractive and good for small birds. I bought another bird feeder with an open feeding ring and the birds love it. More birds can feed around the open circular perch. The second one doesnât compare in quality though.

Truly squirrel proof!
Finally a bird feeder squirrels cannot conquer. I have watched for a week many attempts by countless squirrels try and get yo the birdseed only to give up and slide down the pole in defeat. Returned baffle, not needed! Ok for big birds.

Brown color fades to a pale, yellow after a little more than a week
The brown color after around a week in the sun has faded and is no longer brown. I wish the manufacture word have more paint on it so the color would last longer than a week or two.

Excellent product!
I am a big bird lover. I always loved having them come eat from my birdfeeders for many years. In the past I’ve used plastic feeders but I’ve always had issues with them. Somehow they always ended up cracking one way or another. I finally decided to try a metal one and I’m so glad I did. The squirrel protection is also such a big plus as I’ve also had that issue many times. The quality is great and I’m confident this will last me a long time!
