If the pump stops working or the water flow decreases, it is time to remove the pump, clean it thoroughly, and then properly reinstall the impeller and shaft assembly to restore normal operation. And the pump need to be FULLY SUBMERGED UNDER WATER to work.

Banana for scale
I had my doubts buying this little micro tank, but decided for only $28 why not, it was the closest size that would fit my little shelf. Alot of the reviews made the light look very blue, but it gives off a nice light. I am pretty pleased so far with it. Outside of a betta, shrimp, and snails it won’t be big enough. Alot of the reviews were saying that the water flow was too strong, but I added some extra filter polishing media into the center of the rear filter and the flow is pretty perfect for the little shrimps I had just aquired. I would honestky consider this possibly too small for a betta, but you may be able to get away with this for a baby betta till uograding to something larger. I added a banana for scale. I added some plants from my main tank to see if the light is sufficient enough to foster any growth. Time will tell. But honestly, for something that fits almost perfectly on this shelf it looks really nice. My favorite part is that it is entirely powered by a usb, I plugged it straight into my tv, no problems. I cannot hear it at all, it is super quiet. A little tricky to aquascape due to the narrow size of the fish area. If they made this size 2 inches taller and maybe 4 inches longer, it would be absolutely perfect for my needs. If you have the room for something larger you can certainly find something within this price range. I also like the rounded corners, they are sleek. I could see this being a cute little shrimp setup for a kid. The clips are fine on mine, I didn’t have any issues, they falk out when setting up so you may have to pop ’em back in, however once setup they hold well.

Garbage
This is garbage. Spend an extra 10-15$ at your local pet store. Pump didn’t work from the moment I plugged it in (and you have to buy your own USB plug). Hinges fall off from the lid every single time you take it off or even lift it. Also, the plants that come with it, have nothing to stand up or stick with so you have to find a way to wedge them under the rocks. Absolute garbage and now I have to find a way to return this after filling it with water and rocks. So disappointed.

Filter Doesnât Work
Great starter tank but unfortunately the filter does not work at all. I bought 2 tanks since I have 2 bettas & they both do no work which is odd. The lights work perfectly fine but the filters do not.

As advertised. Itâs priced right
Tiny but clean sleek design. Itâs perfect for a desk to for separating sick or aggressive fish.I use it for 3 male guppies that canât be in the main tank. Itâs a little to bright to be a nightlight.

1 of 2 filters donât work.
We bought 2 and 1 the filter doesn’t work. Both setup identical by same person at same time. Water level identical as we confirmed with instructions each step including how full to fill the water. We wanted to believe the reviews might have been user error but seems the filters are not good quality or not packaged well enough to make it safely to the customer. Cute little tank though. Not sure what to do at this point. Might order another one and see if it works and send back the other as defective. Feels like it should be easier to get product support.

Fish ain’t dead, so it seems to work. Easy to setup, cleans easy.
