Why did you pick this product vs others?:i read the comments on way too many broom/standing dustpan products here – this one got great reviews and an A rating from fakespot (so sorry to hear they are quitting).  the dustpan collects all the dust – nothing goes under the lip.  the pan’s mechanics work well as far as easily locking and unlocking positions, and the broom brushes are perfect.  it takes 1/4 the time to clean the patio now, as when using my last set.  the only thing i don’t like is how heavy the broom is (even without the added extension rod).  great value and it feels/looks like it will last a long time.  i can’t believe i am so happy about a broom – so i decided to write a review.  

DUST PAN LOCKS & IT SWEEPS
The “TreeLen Broom and Dustpan Set” is very easy to assemble. Just screw each pole section into the next. There is a diagram for anyone who might need to see it.The dustpan locks in place if you wish it to. Just place your foot a little inside the dustpan to hold it in place while you tilt the dustpan pole back until you hear the click and it stands open on its own. Having a dustpan that locks into place makes the cleanup job so much easier.The broom part of the set is somewhat stiff to sweep well enough. The comb of the dustpan is helpful to clean off the brush (from leaves or pet hair, etc.)I feel the quality is good.Nice color options.I would recommend this product to a friend. Matter fact, I bought two; one for indoors, and one for outdoors.

A good, study, narrow broom and standing dustpan. Worth the price.
Trying to find a broom and dustpan set that fit my needs should have been easy, but this was difficult enough that I decided I should write a review, and, trust me, I don’t usually spend this time to write reviews. I finally selected this product and it has met all of my expectations, so I am happy with my selection. Things for others to know: the width of the broom is narrower than standard. If you want to use this in a small space like a bathroom, that’s a definite plus. But if you’re wanting to sweep large patios or ballrooms, you might want something a bit wider. The broom bristles are pretty stiff and do a good job of sweeping up normal dirt, dust, cat litter and dog hair. Again, if you’re wanting to sweep up large amounts of anything, another choice might be better. And finally, the broom fits neatly into the dustpan and both stand up together in a corner or such if you don’t have a dedicated space to store them. They also have an unobtrusive design, unlike some others I looked at that were bright orange or such. Again, if you think you might lose the broom on the patio, maybe you want orange, but the white/blue color scheme is what I preferred for my bathroom. And finally, this review was NOT written by AI. Nothing wrong with AI, actually, and I could just be a lying human instead, but nope, just me hoping to help some people make choosing a broom a little less traumatic. Good luck!

Great product, no more back strain
I should have gotten this sooner! It’s so nice to have a broom with a long handle (it’s semi adjustable) and a dustpan that works well but doesn’t require a lot of bending and stretching. Comes with a snap on holder to keep both handles together when stored. Makes sweeping so easy and painless.

Dont be alarmed at how compact it is on delivery. You need to assemble poles.Poles are mid weight sturdy metal. However the screwing pieces are plastic which looks sturdy as they fit into the pole so I’m not sure how long it would last. But I don’t think the poles will bend or break.Dustpan screws onto pole with the clamp.To keep it standing upright push down on handle and the blue part will click into the dustpan. The dustpan does not need to be held you can stick your foot behind it. it captures the dirt when you sweep in. However I do not like the gridded teeth on the dust pan. It does not remove pet fur or hair and when putting your broom away it bends the bristles so be very careful.It was easy to assemble comfortable in handsI tried it right away I don’t think there’s a pointed side for left or right handed people which I like because you can flip the broom if one side is getting warped. Other brooms I’ve used tends to happen when they’re pointed at one end of the bristles.In one picture I post the red broom does not pick up all the cat litter dust and fur i look back and say I just swept and have to sweep again.However with this broom the bristles seem different more plastic like or something they’re longer which I like because it gets underneath the furnace the fridge and even the bottom of the stove deeper than most brooms.It’s very comfortable to use without strain.However be careful of the bristles because they do bend but I was able to bend them back into place .that’s not when you’re sweepingwhen you’re putting your broom away inside the dust pen be careful.I think that’s the only drawback of this product.The dustpan rubber lip was great I didn’t have to push down on the broom or the dust pan itself I just put my foot gently behind not even holding on to the pole and all the dirt was collected.When I use this broom and dustpan I looked back and the floor was actually swept and nothing was left behind I sat on the couch and my feet didn’t have grunge on it from a floor that I thought was swept like other brooms do.The dustpan however is very thin plastic so don’t bang it or crack it not sure how long it will last but I like the fact that it collects the dirt for days on end most likely instead of sweeping into the corner and having to bend and sweep up. I mainly bought for a broom to pick up cat litter and fur threwout the apartment wood floorsAll in all I love this two-piece product.!I will review how the bristles last 3to 6 months as I’m curious to see when I’m going to need to replace the bristles and when it stops actually sweepingI don’t think you’ll be disappointed with this product
