Love this birdseed. It attracts many different kinds of birds.
I’ve been using Morning Song Deluxe birdseed for a couple of years now. I like it because there’s no useless kinds of things like corn, etc. in it. I’ve found that the mixture attracts many different kinds of birds. It’s a little more expensive than some others, but I like seeing the large variety of birds that come to my feeder.

Bird Seed Appears to be Fresh
I cannot comment on the “flavor” since I am not a bird. But the birds eat it and seem to enjoy it. Sadly, so do the squirrels. 🙂

Round brown-orange bead seeds-no one eats
I have a variety of birds that eat all the seeds except one seed. Those round brown-orangish seeds no one eats. Not even the squirrels or racoons which is pretty bad since they eat everything. I feel they are fillers and could be removed. Don’t know what kind of bird eats those round brown beads. Other than that, the Morning Song Deluxe and Just the Sunflowers seeds are great here in NC.

I am posting here this info that has already been posted on other “Morning Song” products:Last Friday (Sept 2012), Scotts Miracle-Gro, the company best known for greening lawns across America, was fined $12.5 million for violating the EPAâs pesticide laws: The company illegally applied insecticides to its wild bird food productsâinsecticides, it turns out, that are toxic to birds. It also falsified pesticide registration documents and distributed pesticides with misleading and unapproved labels.The chemicals that laced the bird foodâActellic 5E and Storcide IIâwere apparently used to ward off insects during storage. This use, however, is prohibited by the EPA. From 2005 to 2008, the company sold more than 70 million units of the bird food, branded as Morning Song and Country Pride. Scotts eventually recalled the products in March 2008.âScottsâ behavior was outrageous, and theyâll pay with consumersâ trust. This strong action by the Environmental Protection Agency and Department of Justice is very important: It says that if companies harm birds or people, they will have to pay for the damage they cause,â said Audubon President and CEO David Yarnold, in a press release.

Birds love it
I first ordered a different brand and basically waisted 25 buck. There was so much large corn pieces in it and the birds don’t really like that.Then I found this brand. It was more expensive but well worth it. No corn in it. It’s great and as long as they keep it with no corn I will buy it. I am completly satisfied and so are my birds.
