Works well in 30 gallon tank.
Iâve bought a few filters and this one works great. Currently using in my 30 gallon tank. The water flow seemed strong the first 2 weeks of use and now itâs not as strong. But my tank has remained clean. I wash the sponge filters once a week and clean the tubes about the same to clean out the built up of algae. My tanks been very clear and I have not had to change the water or add anything. Fish love the water flow and spend a lot of time swimming against the current that the pump puts out. Will update in 6 months if anything changes with filter.

Fit my needs perfectly
Using this filter in a small sump. Â Working well so far and catching lots of debris that was otherwise suspended in the water column. Â Helped clear the water within a few hours.

âFrequently returned itemâ and now I know why
I saw the notation on the listing that it was âfrequently returnedâ. I didnât heed the warnings and didnât plan ahead to keep the packaging in case it sucked. Lo and behold, this pump sucks.I donât like giving one star reviews, but sadly, this product earned it.1) the suction cups included are the size of a dime and do just short of zero to hold this pump in place in the tank. In addition to how small they are, they are poor quality.2) the output force of the pump is way too high.3) the water return can be highly problematic with the way the suction cups donât keep the pump in place. At one point, the pump shifted causing the water return to spray all over the hood.4) far too loud and annoyingHad that happened when I was away, it would have been highly problematic.Ultimately, I have replaced the pump with yet another pump that was only a few dollars more. Iâm really pleased with that purchase and should have spent the extra money in the first place.

Can’t change flow
You can adjust flow out of the “rain” tube but not out of the main out flow. It is too much for my cube aquarium. I am going to keep it for use in a quarantine tank, but not good for the tank I needed it in

This was worth it the price was amazing and is doing a pretty good job on cycling my tank it feels a bit cheap but it works I just put it in Iâll give a review in another week or so!

WorksExactly as described. Water clarity changed within a day. So quiet hard to tell itâs running. Best value for the price.

Not worth it
Suction cups do not stick worth anything. The attachments fit so loosely the only way for me to keep them on the pump and not spew water everywhere is to tap it or silicone one of the attachments permanently, that’s if I can even find suction cups that will stick and fit the base unit. Haven’t really tried the rest of the pump as it cannot be used right now without some external creative solutions.

The filter feels like it’ll fall apart if I touch it wrong and the bottom filter piece doesn’t even fit in to the other part properly!Apart from that, the rain attachment does function well and the water jet part does circulate the water well!Lastly, the filter broke after 5 days of use!
