It was not easy to assemble as shown on video. The pieces were not conducive to fit together. I have made furniture in the past and this was one of the most difficult ever. I tried for over3 hrs. Now Iover 3 hrs. Now I have a huge headache..

it’s very functional, and it supports even my 17lb big cat’s weight. he’s the only one who uses it, though.it’s really easy to put together, and it doesn’t tip over. the other cat is just disinterested in it, and the bigger cat isn’t super attracted to it.

Installation was super easy, the instructions were very easy to follow and understand. The hardware seems to be of decent quality, I had no issues with the screws or Allen wrench. I did have an issue during installation to where one of the base sides would not get level no matter what and wobbles due to it not sitting flat on the ground. I tried everything and nothing helped, so I believe the pre drilled hole was not exactly accurate and resulted in it the post not standing up straight. Regardless, my cat loves it and now uses it to stretch and knead rather then my couch!

This is a really pretty scratching post. The wood sides are finished in a matte finish and are actual wood versus pressed board. It connects the sisal scratch mat by dowels that are inserted in pockets from behind with one additional suport dowel visible mid back. It sits really stable without rocking and the cats are just noticing it as i am typing this review. This is awesome!I did find i had a bit of trouble screwing the screws in as gripping the dowel thats in the sisal pocket lacks grip lol. I should have given in and gotten the needle nosed pliers out to grip the dowel but I was lazy and just chose to grit my teeth and groan in frustration. The usual response lol. Anyways I really recommend this one, this is a great scratching post that should look great for any decore. Huh wow just realised its the same colour as my island.I have included a picture of the interlocking dovetail type joint from the back where the 2 pieces making up the sides connect point.Enjoy!Thank you!

Assembly was pretty straight forward, with only a few screws to install. At the final step, you may need a helper as the fabric needs to be stretched a little to line up the final screw hole. Once assembled, I was surprised how lightweight it is. My cats tend to just sleep on it, and it gets moved around quite a bit by them jumping on and off of it. I leave it laying down, as it kept getting knocked over when left standing up. More of a bed than a scratching post, and you can find better beds for much cheaper.

I ordered this cat scratcher as an Amazon Vine member to review. It was well packed, and while I couldnât find the instructions at first, they were included in the box. Honestly, it was so easy to put together that I assembled it without even looking at them. I was also happy to see that it came with the Allen key needed for assembly, so no extra tools were required.Both of my cats like this scratcher much better than their old cardboard one, which was messy and wore out quickly. I do expect that some of the material may eventually come off with use, but this seems much sturdier and should last a lot longer than the cardboard versions Iâve tried before.Also, at its current price of $48.99, itâs about the same cost as a cardboard equivalent, making it a pretty good value. On top of that, it has a proper wood outer frame, which gives it a more solid feel and a nicer look in the home.Overall, it was super simple to put together, feels solid, and most importantly my cats like it.

Sturdy, simple, and does the job. The beechwood base keeps it from wobbling and the sisal is tightly wrapped so it feels like itâll hold up for a while. Itâs tall enough for my cat to stretch fully which is a big win. Whether or not your cat decides to love it right away is another story but at least it looks nice in the house compared to some of the bulkier scratchers out there.
