Live Hornworms
By Oregon Silkworms
Live hornworms are now being offered by Oregon Silkworms. The size of hornworms we send will depend on the weather. In warmer months the hornworms will be smaller as they grow quickly. The hornworm cups must be kept lid side down to allow the waste to fall away from the worms and food. Be sure to clean the cup out daily by taking the lid off and removing waste. The hornworm cups should be stored around 80 degrees for faster growth, or as low at 60 degrees for slower hornworm growth.

The soft bodied Hornworm lacks a rigid exoskeleton, making them an easy to digest treat for your beloved pets.
They’re high in protein, calcium, and nutrients, making them a great alternative or addition to crickets, roaches, mealworms, and other feeding mixes.
These hornworms are raised and bred by us at Oregon Silkworms, with the proper food and temperature in mind.
Customers say
Customers find these hornworms to be of great quality and well worth their affordable price. They are healthy and grow fast, with one customer noting they triple in size in just a few days. The size and population receive mixed feedback – while some customers appreciate the variety of sizes, others find them very small, and while some containers contain more than expected, others report receiving mostly dead ones. The growth rate and food quantity also get mixed reviews, with some customers reporting plenty of food while others say there wasn’t enough.

They grow fast and fat in the proper environment
I bought these for my adult bearded dragon. I made a mistake and ordered the roughly 30 count. For only one lizard I highly recommend purchasing the 18 count instead. These are meant for occasional treats, not daily feeders, so that 18 count should last a while. These grew FAST, from small worms to finger-sized within two weeks. I began chopping them up when they grew giant (it was gross). I don’t think it’s necessary with an adult lizard, and I won’t do so in the future. However, I would be cautious feeding these to babies/juveniles. Hornworms do have a beak, not sure if it could cause damage to a little lizard. I wouldn’t risk it.If the 1 star reviews scare you, maybe do some research before purchasing. I don’t mean to say all the negative reviews are wrong, but environment matters. See what you’d need to keep them healthy. Even live food has upkeep requirements, you need to take into consideration your home’s humidity and temperature levels and where it would be best to place the cup. Would you need to mist them occasionally? Would you need to dump out their frass more often because they’re growing faster? Etc.On that note, the buildup of frass (aka poop) in their cup will smell, but if you keep on top of it it’s not noticeable.I’m pleased with this company, they shipped my order promptly, the worms arrived healthy, and they had plenty of food for the duration of time I had them.

Came alive!
Was nervous buying bugs online but they all survived and arrived timely and safely. Definitely alot of worms for the price, I’d recommend it if you have alot of reptiles, but if you have just one lizard like me it might be too much, these suckers grow FAST (that of course is no fault of the product or seller, that was my mistake for buying so many). I would recommend getting a bigger container for them if you want to store them better or do just have one lizard, the container they come in is classic but again these guys triple in size in just a few days, and all they do is eat and poop, so they start to reek if kept too long in that container (again, no fault of the seller). All in all, good quality worms and they come alive, packaged with care, and my lizard loved them

Smh
This is my fourth time purchasing. When I say I’m pissed I am. The first time I purchased, they was healthy , fat, and lasted two weeks for my bearded dragons. Now the other three time, every single one of them are dead and already starting to mold. Now me being me, I’m like okay maybe it’s just a seasonal thing I’ll wait and reorder again. So fast forward I reordered same thing, all dead. I messaged the seller and no reply. Fast forward to December I decided to give them one more chance so my bearded dragons can have a Christmas snack. It didn’t come till January smh but I didn’t care, I was excited they finally came cause all of my dragons love these as a snack. But once again all freaken dead. Out of all four orders only my first one was good. I’ll not be ordering again. I didn’t even wanna leave a bad review, but I’m Over it. I done requested a refund twice, provided the video and I have not heard anything back. Even asked for them to send me a good bunch if I can’t have a refund. Like how do u not know they are all dead when u sent them off. So now. I’ll be waiting to go to a local store to find them. I do not recommend ordering. You might be good first round, but don’t waste your money after that.

Horned worms for my baby
I have ordered twice from this seller and I must say their product was perfect for my baby when it came. The second order I received, I did have mostly dead worms. That is the chance you take when ordering live feeders through the mail. I contacted customer service and they immediately took care of the issue. Iâm very happy with both the product and customer service and will continue to buy my baby her feeders through this seller. Top tier customer service and care!! If you have a herp baby, this company is the place to buy their treats!!

First time ever getting hornworms & theyâre super cute! A few were dead on arrival in the container but all the others seem fine so far. Various stages/sizes in the containerâcool to watch. Canât wait to see how much bigger theyâll get & feed them to my reptiles.

Amazing value and arrived quickly, all alive
I ordered this on the 24th and the estimated arrival date was Monday, October 2. I was very pleasantly surprised to wake up today (Fri the 29th) to a notification that it was out for delivery, and it arrived about 3pm. I was expecting one or two to have died since today’s been in the 50s, but there are 31 little baby worms in there, all alive and wriggling at different sizes. My lizard has been perky all day as though he could sense they were coming lol. Very happy with this purchase. ~30 baby worms for $15 with just a little waiting time for them to eat and grow definitely beats 4 adult worms for $20 at the pet shop. This is my second time purchasing from this seller, and from what I recall the previous order also all came alive and well. I was definitely surprised at how tiny they were the first time, but they grow really fast as long as you keep them warm.Edit: I ordered again on October 15th and received it October 27th. Much longer delivery time this time. It’s getting very cold here, so I was pleased to count 45 in the cup this time, since between their size and the weather I reckon some of them aren’t going to make it more than a day or two. I highly recommend this seller. In my last order I lost two of three of the tiny ones in the first couple of days, and the rest rapidly grew well to be a good several meals for my beardie.
