Update #2: I give this primarily because of the great customer service. Once I returned and exchanged the item it came quickly. The representatives were quick at contacting me and letting me know that they would send me a different camera that would more suit my needs. I am looking forward to getting that soon! It was a charging issue with the one I returned and the replacement charges fully now. It holds for about 4ish hours. It doesnât see into my aquarium at night when the lights are out but it does great when the lights are dimming before completely going off. I thing this is better for using when there is daylight in the tank. You get a great picture then!UPDATE: After using this for a while now, I have to give a warning that it doesnât stay charged for more than a couple hours. So if you want to watch your fish tank at night, especially if you need to be able to see what is going on for some important reason, know that it wonât hold the charge. A bit disappointed that it wonât last for even 5 or 6 hours, which was all I really needed!This is my second camera from this company and it does not disappoint. I got it to observe my aquarium at night when itâs dark and itâs amazing to see what goes on after the lights go out! The only thing for me, and it has nothing to do with the camera itself, is that I donât want it sticking on the tank so the time do you canât use the peel and stick option if you want to remove and put it on and off. So I got some museum putty to hold on and then remove the next day. Now Iâm a happy camper!! Love that itâs rechargeable and you donât have to have it plugged in all the time!

Would be wasted on a fish tank (much more potential)
This camera is being advertised as an aquarium viewing system. So, I never realized that it is a full blown security style camera with speakers, an intercom, motion sensing, night vision, a siren, and even available cloud storage subscription with (one week FREE trial).I started setting it up for my aquarium and realized that I could be using it for home security so we set it up for our dog while we ran errands.There was a bit of latency, but nothing too awful and occasionally the app would need to reconnect to the camera. The normal mode is full color with a great quality picture and the night vision mode works well as a room security or out the front door, but when it goes into night vision while on the aquarium glass you can only see the camera’s IR lights reflecting off the glass.Set up was fairly simple IF YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH SETTING UP APPS AND WI-FI CONNECTIONS. If you are not tech savvy you may struggle a bit as it does take some time to get everything set up correctly.The fact that you are getting a literal security camera I would say the purchase price is very fair.My only complaint is when you try to use the intercom feature to speak through the camera, there is a terrible feedback that I have been unable to fix. I thought it was just because I was too close to the camera the first time, but when I tried the intercom from several miles away, the feedback was still very much horrible.

The actual camera was well made and came with plenty attachments for cars and glass. My issue came from the app you need to install to operate.In short, it sucks. The picture was blurry, constant ads, and a scammy basically required iCloud storage subscription in order to get video. If you donât pay the 99 cents a month youâll only get photos.For the price, absolutely not worth it.

Clear view of my 30-gallon tank
The AMOUU 2K HD aquarium/terrarium camera has been a fantastic way to keep an eye on my 30- gallon tropical tank. The 140° wide angle lens gives me a full view of the aquascape, and the anti-glare and anti-reflection features really do make a difference â I can see the fish clearly even with the tank lights on.Night vision works great, so I can check on my Tetras, Rasboras, Endlers, and Gourami after dark without disturbing them. The two way audio isnât something I thought Iâd use much, but itâs a fun feature and works well. Set up was quick and easy, and the Wi-Fi connection has been reliable.Itâs reassuring to be able to check in on my tank when Iâm away from home, and the video quality is crisp enough to see even small details. A great choice for any fish keeper who wants a piece of mind.

Fish Tank Reality Show
This little camera was super easy to set up, and it looks great on the tank. The 2K video is really sharp â no glare off the glass â so I can actually see the fish clearly instead of just blurry movement. The wide angle catches the whole setup, and the night vision works way better than I expected. Honestly feels like Iâm running a 24/7 reality show for my aquarium. Love being able to check in whenever I want without disturbing the fish.
