This recipe book for dogs is great. It features premium recipes with premium and fresh ingredients for optimal health. The recipes are very detailed and well explained. It uses a variety of proteins, whole grains and vegetables and explains the benefits of each. Very recommended.

Beautiful book with tons of recipes
Beautiful pictures and great recipes. Since I work I donât have a lot of time to spend in the kitchen for my own meals, let alone make something form my little Codie. I was intrigued by the crockpot idea. My dog is very picky, with a very sensitive stomach, and severe allergies to just about everything. my budget is geared towards the traditional ingredients, but I did like the more unusual meats like bison and lamb in case I decide to venture off my traditional path in the future. I especially liked the 30 day meal plans, and all the little hints, trips and tricks at the end of the book will be invaluable to me in the future. The book is beautifully laid out and so very helpful, especially for people like me who want to put ingredients into a crockpot and let it do its thing. Violaâ. Homemade dog food healthier than the processed kibble that a lot of people just dump into a bowl. If you live your dog as much as I love mine, this book is a must.

This is a great and easy to read book for anyone who is interested in learning how to cook healthy meals for their fur baby! I love the section on “Foundation Recipes For Healthy Dogs” because it really gives a novice dog food cook, like myself, a lot of easy starter recipes. The recipes are very easy to follow and I like that each recipe has a beautiful picture, and also includes prep time. This is the perfect cookbook for someone who is looking for an easy way to prepare meals for there pup. Besides the many recipes, there is also a section on different oil mixes for a great skin and coat.. as well as different herbs that you can add to your pups food to help them if they have anxiety. This is an excellent cookbook and resource, and I’m glad that I picked it up!

The Easy Vet-Approved Slow Cooker Dog Food Cookbook is a lifesaver. My 17-year-old dog has become a very picky eater, and finding food he will eat is a chore. This book has many different healthy recipes; all of the ingredients go right into the crock pot. I have started making up a batch a week. I am experimenting with the transition and which one is my dog’s favorite.

I am 63 years old, and I have had several dogs over the years. I never really liked buying store dog food in the bag, but it seemed like l never really had a choice. At home we would serve some of our leftover human food as a treat for the dogs, but I learned that that was not necessarily a good idea. I knew about some people making their own dog food, but I never really knew much about it. This book does an excellent job in explaining how to prepare the proper food for your dog. Easy-to-follow instructions with pictures, and l am sure any dog would love it. If you are a dog owner, get this book.
